‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,’ ‘Abigail,’ ‘YOLO,’ ‘Challengers’

MOVIEGOERS, excited na ba kayo sa mga bagong pelikula na ipapalabas ngayong buwan ng Abril?

Nako, mala-roller coaster ride ang naka-lineup dahil iba-ibang genre ang mapapanood sa mga lokal na sinehan.

Narito ang apat na international films na tiyak na hindi dapat palampasin:

‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’

Sa darating na April 10, magbabalik sa big screen ang 1984 film na “Ghostbusters.”

Bibida sa “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” ang Hollywood stars na sina Paul Rudd, McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, at Carrie Coon.

Pati na rin ang ilang veteran Ghostbusters na sina Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd at Ernie Hudson na gumanap sa original films ng nasabing franchise.

Ang bagong pelikula ay ang sequel para sa 2021 hit na “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.”

“The Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. ‘Abigail’

Kung mas nakakatakot na pelikula ang gusto niyo, abangan sa mga sinehan ang bagong vampire flick na “Abigail” na ipapalabas sa April 17.

Base sa pasilip, iikot ang istorya sa batang babae na si Abigail na kinuha at binantayan ng isang grupo ng mga kidnapper.

Ang hindi nila alam, isa palang bampira ang bata at anak ito ng isang pinakamakapangyarihang underworld figure.

Heto ang kabuuang synopsis ng horror film:

“In ‘Abigail,’ after a group of would-be criminals kidnap the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of a powerful underworld figure, all they have to do to collect a $50 million ransom is watch the girl overnight. In an isolated mansion, the captors start to dwindle, one by one, and they discover, to their mounting horror, that they’re locked inside with no normal little girl.”

Ang bibida bilang “Abigail” ay ag Irish singer-actress na si Alisha Weir.

‘YOLO’

Para naman sa mga comedy ang trip, dadalhin dito sa ating bansa ang isa sa blockbuster film ng China –ang “YOLO.”

Isa itong inspirational comedy drama film na isinulat, dinirek at pinagbibidahan ng Chinese comedienne na si Jia Ling.

“YOLO tells the story of Le Ying (played by Jia Ling), who has been staying at home for many years, doing nothing in particular. After graduating from college and working for a while, Le Ying chooses to withdraw from society, closing herself off from social circles, which she believes is the best way to ‘reconcile’ with herself,” kwento sa synopsis ng pelikula sa inilabas na pahayag ng Columbia Pictures.

Patuloy pa, “Then one day, after several twists of fate, she decides to live life in a different way. In cautiously venturing into the outside world, Le Ying meets boxing coach Hao Kun (played by Lei Jia Yin), who just may change her life.”

‘Challengers’

Matapos ang “Dune: Part Two,” may bagong pelikula ang singer-actress na si Zendaya.

Ito ang romantic sports comedy film na “Challengers” na nakatakdang ipalabas sa April 24.

Heto ang kwento ng pelikula base sa inilabas na synopsis ng Warner Bros.:

“‘Challengers’ stars Zendaya as Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy-turned-coach and a force of nature who makes no apologies for her game on and off the court.
