‘Abigail’, ‘Tarot’, bagong ‘Ghostbusters’ mga pelikulang mananakot sa 2024

MAY mga bagong pelikula ang nakatakdang ipalabas ngayong taon na tiyak na magpapataas ng balahibo sa moviegoers!

Ang horror movies na naka-lineup so far ay ang “Abigail,” “Tarot,” at ang “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.”

Yes, yes, yes, mga ka-Bandera, magbabalik sa big screen ang 1984 film na “Ghostbusters” sa darating na April 10.

Bibida ulit diyan ang Hollywood stars na sina Paul Rudd, McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, at Carrie Coon.

Para sa kaalaman ng marami, ito ang magiging sequel para sa 2021 hit na “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” na ipinalabas noong 2021.

Mapapanood sa bagong pelikula ang pagsasanib-pwersa ng veteran Ghostbusters kasama ang new recruits upang iligtas ang New York City mula sa isang nakakatakot na kalaban.

But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.”

At bilang nabanggit nga namin ang veteran Ghostbusters, ang ibig sabihin niyan ay tampok din sina Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd at Ernie Hudson na gumanap sa original films ng nasabing franchise.

Kung mala-vampire vibes naman ang hanap niyo, meron din niyan!

Abangan sa mga sinehan sa April 17 ang bagong vampire flick na may titulong “Abigail.”

Mula ‘yan sa directing team na sina Matt Bettinelli-Olpin at Tyler Gillett na gumawa rin ng terrifying modern horror hits kabilang na ang “Ready or Not,” “Scream (2022)” at “Scream VI (2023).”

Base sa pasilip, iikot ang istorya ng pelikula sa batang babae na si Abigail na kinuha at binantayan ng isang grupo ng mga kidnapper.

Ang hindi nila alam, isa palang bampira ang bata at anak ito ng isang pinakamakapangyarihang underworld figure.

Heto ang kabuuang synopsis ng horror film:

“In ‘Abigail,’ after a group of would-be criminals kidnap the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of a powerful underworld figure, all they have to do to collect a $50 million ransom is watch the girl overnight. In an isolated mansion, the captors start to dwindle, one by one, and they discover, to their mounting horror, that they’re locked inside with no normal little girl.”

Ang bibida bilang “Abigail” ay ag Irish singer-actress na si Alisha Weir.

Tampok din sina Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, William Catlett, Kevin Durand at Angus Cloud bilang mga kidnappers, pati na rin ang veteran American actor na si Giancarlo Esposito.

Bukod sa mga nabanggit, showing din this year ang horror movie na “Tarot.”

Bibida riyan ang Filipino-American actor na si Jacob Batalon na kilala at sumikat sa pagganap bilang bestfriend ni Peter Parker o Spider-Man.

Tampok din sa bagong pelikula sina Avantika, Harriet Slater, at Adain Bradley.

Ang istorya ng “Tarot” ay tungkol sa isang grupo ng magkakaibigan na nilabag ang sagradong tuntunin sa pagbabasa ng nasabing cards.

“When a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings–never use someone else’s deck–they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death to escape the future foretold in their readings,” saad sa synopsis ng pelikula.
