‘It’s Showtime’ pinakakansel ng maraming viewers, sey ni MTRCB Chair Lala Sotto
INIHAYAG ng Movie and Television Review aand Classification Board (MTRCB) chair Lala Sotto na marami raw ang nagbigay ng suggestion na kanselahin na ang Kapamilya noontime program na “It’s Showtime“.
Ito ay ibinahagi niya sa isinagawang pagdinig ng Senado para sa proposed 2024 budget ng ahensya nitong Miyerkules, September 27.
Natanong kasi ni Sen. Jinggoy Estrada si Lala ukol sa “icing” incident ng “It’s Showtime” na talagang isa sa mga mainit na usapin magpasahanggang ngayon.
Matatandaang nauna nang patawan ng MTRCB ang Kapamilya noontime show ng 12-day suspension ukol sa isyu ng pagkain nina Vice at Ion ng icing sa segment na “Isip Bata” ngunit kasalukuyan pa rin itong tinatalakay matapos maghain ng Motion for Reconsideration ang kampo ng ABS-CBN sa naging desisyon ng ahensya.

Dito ay isiniwalat ni Lala na marami raw silang natatanggap na suhestiyon na dapat ay kanselahin na ang show at hindi lang basta suspension ang ipataw rito.
“Meron din pong nagsasabi that the suspension of 12 airing days was too severe, well maybe some sectors. Can you enlighten this subcommittee how the sanction was arrived to that?” sey ni Estrada, na siyang chairperson sa pagdinig.
“There are also a lot of people suggesting to cancel the show,. We consider other people’s comments too. That is not the only comment that we received, saying that a 12-day suspension is too much,” sey ni Lala.
Dagdag pa niya, “There are also a lot who were saying that the show should be canceled or that the number of days should be extended.”
Sinabi rin ni Lala na unanimous umano ang desisyon ng MTRCB ukol sa isyu at hindi siya nakialam sa botohan.
Ayon naman sa kolumnistang si Cristy Fermin, maaari na raw ilabas anumang oras ngayong araw ang desisyon ukol sa inihaing Motion for Reconsideration ng kampo ng Kapamilya noontime show sa naunang desisyon ng MTRCB.
