Paalala ng Health Undersecretary, “We should always practice our minimum public health standards pati na rin po ang pinaka importante, magpapabakuna tayo, so that we can be protected especially against these variants.”

Nauna nang nagbabala ang World Health Organization (WHO) na isang “variant of concern” ang BQ.1 at kasalukuyan na itong kumakalat sa 29 na bansa.

Samantala, as of November 25, Ang active cases ng COVID-19 sa bansa ay nasa 17,945.

Karamihan sa mga kaso ay nasa Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Central Luzon, Western Visayas, at Central Visayas.
