Nauna naman nang naglabas ng pahayag ang Department of Health nitong Biyernes ng umaga at sinabing wala pang kumpirmasyon at wala pa ring mga reliable source na nagpapatotoo ng balita gaya ng World Health Organization (WHO).
“Reliable sources currently do not support circulating posts on social media about an alleged international health concern. There is no confirmation from either the cited country or the World Health Organization (WHO),” saad nito.
“The Philippines through the Department of Health (DOH) is an active participant in the network of WHO Member States that follow the International Health Regulations (IHR). This established system is what gives reliable updates about international health concerns,” dagdag pa nito,” sey ng DOH.
