Ilocos Region, Western Visayas may dagdag-sweldo sa Nobyembre
SA gitna ng “inflation” o patuloy na pagtaas ng mga presyo ng bilihin, magkakaroon ng karagdagang sweldo ang mga minimum wage earners ng pribadong establisyemento sa ilang probinsya.
Inaprubahan na ito ng National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) at nakatakda itong ipatupad sa Ilocos Region sa November 16 at Western Visayas sa darating na November 16.
Ayon sa RTWPB Ilocos, nasa P30 hanggang P35 ang itataas sa daily minimum wage.
Ibig sabihin, ang mga non-agricultural establishments na may sampu at pataas na empleyado ay magiging P435 kada araw, at P402 para sa mga less than ten workers.

Base naman sa RTWPB Western Visayas, P30 ang dagdag-sweldo sa lahat ng sektor.
Papatak na sa P480 ang mga nasa non-agriculture establishments na may mahigit sampung trabahador, P450 sa mga hindi aabot sa sampung workers, habang P440 ang magiging arawan para sa mga nasa agriculture sector.
Ayon sa report ng ahensya, may kabuuang 287,687 private sectors ang makikinabang sa taas-sweldo sa dalawang rehiyon, habang aabot naman sa 677,626 ang maaaring hindi direktang makinabang dahil sa “wage distortion adjustments.”
Bukod diyan, inaprubahan din ng regional wage boards ang monthly increase na P500 para sa domestic workers.
Ibig sabihin, papatak na sa P5,500 ang buwanang sahod sa Ilocos Region at P5,000 sa Western Visayas.
May total na 259,820 ang domestic workers na magbe-benefit sa wage increase.
“The increases, which considered the various wage determination criteria provided under Republic Act No. 6727, or the Wage Rationalization Act, either resulted from the motu proprio act of the Board or petitions filed by labor groups seeking an increase in the daily minimum wage due to escalating prices of basic goods and commodities,” sey ng NWPC.
Dagdag pa, “Each board, comprised of representatives from the government, management, and labor sectors, conducted public hearings and wage deliberations.”
Magugunita noong October 16, nakatanggap ng P40 na arawang dagdag na sahod ang mga manggagawa sa pribadong sektor na nasa Central Luzon.
