MJ Lastimosa at Margot Robbie

“Yung comment na ‘school project’ kasi yung off. It is okay to not like it. Pero sabihin na ganun? Tangent.”

“Uhm, wasting P600 on a Barbie movie? Sounds like a personal problem, MJ. Maybe next time invest in some adult entertainment.”

“When MJ Lastimosa said na waley yung Barbie, parang it’s a reflection of how shallow her understanding lang eh, she only saw the comedy part of it (which to be fair may not be for everybody) but not the underlying theme of the movie lmao.”

Baka Bet Mo: MJ Lastimosa napagkamalang kandidata sa 2021 Miss U: Kaloka ‘yung advisor in-award ako!

“MJ, wasting money on a Barbie movie? Girl, that’s more regrettable than your answer in the Q&A portion.”

“I don’t know about MJ’s preferences, but the Barbie movie was perfectly executed, tackling the world typically ruled by men and challenging the unequal idea behind the toy. It’s fine if you don’t appreciate this, not everyone can, just like MJ.”

It was your opinion about the film and that was your P600. We all have that moment naman na napo-post agad ang bugso ng damdamin, and knowing Twitter folks, everything could blow up in an instant, especially if an opinion come from women of power like you.”

“It’s okay iba iba talaga tayo ng gusto sa isang movie.”

“Well not everyone can have taste! But they can have opinions so let’s just leave her alone.”

“She has preferences. Tong mga taong to porke nagandahan sila ineexpect nila lahat magagandahan na, even called her normie and assumed she doesn’t understand the movie. If you’re so sure the movie is great then why does a single negative comment affect you so much?”

“Filipinos on social media are always opinionated. You cannot say what you like or don’t like cuz if that does not align with theirs, they will say all the mean things to you like bobo, tanga, as if they’re any better. Just because they’re on a bandwagon, they think they are the better ones.”
