VERY proud ang ilang Pinay beauty queens sa ibinanderang laban ng ating pambato sa Miss Universe 2024 pageant na si Chelsea Manalo.
Hindi man niya nakuha ang korona, siya naman ang itinanghal na kauna-unahang Miss Universe Asia.
Ilan lamang sa mga nagpahayag ng kanilang pagkatuwa kay Chelsea ay ang mga reyna ng Miss Universe Philippines, kabilang na sina Michelle Dee (2023), Celeste Cortesi (2022), at MJ Lastimosa (2014).
Sa Instagram, pinuri ni Michelle ang “hardwork” ng Bulakenya beauty queen sa kanayng Miss Universe journey.
“May agimat ang dugo natin!” bungad ni Michelle sa caption, kalakip ang picture nila ni Chelsea na kung saan ay ipinasa niya ang korona ng Miss Universe Philippines last year.

Magugunitang napabilang si Chelsea sa Top 30 qualifiers ng Miss Universe 2024 competition.
Ang itinanghal na reyna for this year ay ang pambato ng Denmark na si Victoria Kjær Theilvig.
Ang first runner-up ay si Chidimma Adetshina ng Nigeria, second runner-up si Maria Fernanda Beltran of Mexico, ang third runner-up ay ang pambato ng Thailand na si Opal Suchata Chuangsri, at ang fourth runner-up ay ang Miss Venezuela na si Ileana Marquez Pedroza.
Nangyari ang coronation event sa Mexico City, Mexico noong Linggo, November 17 (Manila time).
