Pope Francis napiling bagong ‘bishop’ si Fr. Timoner ng Diocese of Pagadian

MAY bagong bishop ang Pilipinas na pinili mismo ni Pope Francis!
Siya’y walang iba kundi si Fr. Ronald Anthony Timoner ng Diocese of Pagadian, ayon sa ulat ng INQUIRER.
Ito ay kinumpirma mismo ni Archbishop Martin Jumoad, ang apostolic administrator ng nasabing simbahan.
Si Fr. Timoner na nasa edad 53 ang pumalit sa pwesto ni Bishop Ronald Lunas ng Ozamiz City na pumanaw noong January last year dahil sa heart attack.

Ang bagong obispo ay laking Camarines Sur at inordinahang maging pari sa Diocese of Daet noong May 1, 1997.
Ayon kay Archbishop Jumoad, si Fr. Timoner ay nais ma-ordained at ma-consecrated bilang obispo ng Sto. Niño Cathedral sa Pagadian City at para doon na lang manatili.
Ngunit wala pang schedule kung kailan ito gagawin nang mag-usap daw sila sa isang pagpupulong sa Maynila.
Ang bagong bishop ay maglilingkod sa 30 parokya sa ilalim ng nasabing diocese.
