Russian-American vlogger posibleng ideklarang persona non grata –Malacañang

PERSONA non grata o unwelcome person.
Ito ang maaaring ideklara sa Russian-American vlogger na si Vitaly Zdorovetskiy matapos ang kanyang kontrobersyal na mga video kung saan siya umano’y nambastos at nangharas ng mga Pinoy, ayon sa Malacañang.
Ayon kay Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary at Palace press officer Claire Castro, nalaman ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos ang ginawa ni Zdorovetskiy at agad na inatasan ang mga awtoridad na aksyunan ito.
Kaya nga nu’ng nakaraan, agad naaresto ang vlogger sa tulong ng Philippine National Police (PNP) at Bureau of Immigration (BI).

“We saw how he treated our countrymen and disrespected our laws,” sey ni Castro sa panayam sa PTV 4.
Dagdag niya, magsilbing babala sana ito sa mga banyagang turista na ang pagbisita sa Pilipinas ay may kaakibat na paggalang pagdating sa mga batas, kaugalian, at tradisyon, lalo na kung sila ay gumagawa ng content para sa social media.
“Tourists and foreign nationals are welcome here. But it doesn’t mean that they can disrespect Filipinos, our customs, our laws,” lahad niya.
Dagdag pa niya, “This should serve as a lesson: if you’re a content creator, you should act within certain limits.”
“Each freedom is accompanied by certain obligations. One cannot just always claim to practice freedom of expression,” sambit niya.
Patuloy niya, “You also have the obligation to respect other people’s rights, or the country that you’re visiting.”
Dahil dito, sinabi ni Castro na nararapat nang ideklara si Zdorovetskiy bilang persona non grata.
“He will be deported, after all. With that alone, he should already be persona non grata,” wika niya.
Nitong April 4, sumailalim si Zdorovetskiy sa inquest proceedings at sinampahan ng reklamo para sa pagiging “undesirable,” isang paglabag na maaaring magresulta sa kanyang deportation at pagkakabilang sa immigration blacklist ng Pilipinas.
