Celeste Cortesi ayaw nang mag-join sa beauty pageant: ‘It’s not for me’

NAGSALITA nang tapos si Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi – hindi na raw siya sasali sa kahit anong beauty pageant sa Pilipinas.
Nakachikahan namin si Celeste sa naganap na grand mediacon ng Kapuso action series at sitcom na “Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis” last January 26, kung saan isa nga siya sa supporting cast.
Natanong ang beauty queen-turned-actress kung may balak pa siyang mag-join uli sa Miss Universe Philippines at iba pang beauty pageant ngayon sa bansa.

“Ayaw ko na sa beauty pageant, I’m done with beauty pageant, tapos na ako roon. As of now, I wouldn’t do it again, I know it’s not for me. Finally, I have something I can work at acting ‘yun,” ang pahayag ni Celeste.

“Close na. I think I have already gave it all. I had such an amazing experience. I had the chance to meet wonderful people, and I think that’s enough for me,” dugtong pa ni Celeste.
Ito ang unang pagkakataon na sasabak sa aktingan ang dalaga at super excited na siya sa first project niya sa GMA 7, ito ngang season 2 ng “Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis” na pinagbibidahan ni Sen. Bong Revilla, Jr..
Nag-guest na siya noon sa “Darna” ng ABS-CBN na pinagbidahan ni Jane de Leon at sa sitcom ni Michael V sa GMA na “Pepito Manaloto”.
“This is my first role in GMA so when they talked to me about it, I was just very happy and grateful. And, of course, thank you to GMA, thank you to Senator Bong for the opportunity.
“It’s definitely something very different from what I actually do because I’m in pageantry, I’m in modeling.
“And this is my first time to get into acting, but I think this is really the best group and cast that I could ask for,” ang chika ni Celeste.
Wala pang masyadong maikuwento si Celeste tungkol sa kanyang role sa programa dahil hindi pa siya nagte-taping pero naka-bonding na raw niya ang cast members sa kanilang pictorial at sa Christmas party nila last month.

“I haven’t started my taping yet because it’s gonna be in the next few weeks. But I had the chance of course to meet them during the Christmas party and during the photo shoot.
“They’re such amazing people so mababait talaga,” ang chika pa Filipino-Italian beauty queen.
Ginagampanan ni Celeste ang role ni Diamon Ricci sa “Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis”, “Challenge sa akin ang Tagalog ko.
“Also, action is new for me. I have already the script and I’ve been reading it. I have a tutor sa Tagalog, marunong naman akong mag-Tagalog, hindi lang magaling pa,” aniya pa.
Mapapanood na simula sa February 4, 7:15 p.m., ang action-comedy series na “Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis” sa GMA 7.
