“It is necessary to prohibit the sale of liquor and other alcoholic beverages in Manila City taking into consideration the somberness of these occasions and in light of the opening of city cemeteries to the general public, not just to Manileños,” saad sa memorandum.

Dagdag pa ni  Lacuña, “I […] hereby order a ban on the sale and consumption of all alcoholic beverages in Manila City from 29 October 2023 up to 02 November 2023.”

  • Alcoholic beverages

  • Flammable materials

  • Firearms and sharp objects (knives, cutters)

  • Videoke, or other devices that cause loud sounds

  • Playing cards, bingo cards, or other gambling paraphernalia
