Alden Richards bumati na kay Maine Mendoza bago ikasal: She deserves it!

KAHIT nagkaroon ng hindi pagkakaintindihan noon, lubos pa rin ang pasasalamat ng Kapuso actor na si Alden Richards na nananatili pa rin silang magkaibigan ng aktres at dating on-screen partner na si Maine Mendoza.
“She’s a huge part of my life. That’s how I feel,” sey ni Alden matapos tanungin ng ilang reporters sa naganap na press conference para sa bago niyang talent show na “Battle of the Judges.”
Dagdag pa niya, “I haven’t been vocal about this for the longest time and I think now is the right time, but I have immense gratitude for her, for trusting me.”
At bilang malapit nang ikasal si Maine sa fiancé na si Arjo Atayde, walang hinangad si Alden kundi magpaabot ng pagbati para sa soon-to-be husband and wife.
Sambit ng aktor, “She’s going down a path that, she told me, she has wanted ever since.”
“Maine is very goal-oriented in life—by this age, I should be this. And now she’s there,” patuloy niya.

Aniya pa, “I’m happy for them, sincerely. And I tell her that. I really wish her well. She deserves it.”

Kasabay niyan ay nag-open up si Alden sa mga kumakalat na tsismis patungkol sa kanila ni Maine, tulad ng secretly married ang dating loveteam o kaya naman ay may anak na raw ang dalawa.
Ayon kay Alden, tila napagod na siyang i-deny ang mga ito dahil kahit ano pang tanggi ang gawin nila ni Maine ay patuloy pa ring naniniwala ang ilan sa “fake news.”
“Let’s just give it to them. We said our part. We addressed the speculations—we don’t have a child, we’re not married…everything,” sambit niya.
Ani pa ng aktor, “The reality is this: Maine is engaged to Arjo and they’re getting married. But I don’t want to crush them (AlDub fans) or rub it in their faces by saying it over and over again.”
“Maine has said her piece. I’ve said my piece. But if [believing we’re married] will make them happy, let’s just let them be. Whatever it is that they want to speculate about, it’s up to them,” saad pa niya.
Dagdag pa ng 31-year-old actor, “But we’re still grateful for all the support we have received during our time. It’s the truth.”
Kung maaalala, nagsimulang sumikat ang loveteam nina Alden at Maine dahil sa “Kalyeserye” segment ng noontime show na “Eat Bulaga.”
Nagawang sumama ni Maine kay Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto at Joey De Leon sa paglipat ng original Dabarkads sa TV5, pero hindi ito nagawa ni Alden dahil na rin sa kanyang contractual obligations sa GMA bilang isang exclusive talent.
