Matteo Guidicelli kasama ang ‘Unang Hirit’ barkada
MAINIT ang naging pagtanggap ng mga host at buong produksyon ng Kapuso morning show na “Unang Hirit” sa aktor at singer na si Matteo Guidicelli.
Yes, certified Kapuso na nga ang husband ng Popstar Royalty na si Sarah Geronimo sa pagsisimula ng kanyang trabaho sa una niyang show sa GMA 7 pagkatapos pumirma ng network contract kamakailan.
In fairness, agree nga kami sa sinabi ni Sarah G na bagay na bagay kay Matteo ang maging host ng “Unang Hirit” kahit na halatang medyo naninibago pa ang TV host-actor sa kanyang first day sa programa.

“Hindi lang kayo pero everybody behind the camera. Maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat,” mensahe ng mister ni Sarah na nagluto pa ng pasta para sa mga bago niyang katrabaho sa GMA.
Sey pa ni Matteo, talagang morning person siya kaya kering-keri niya ang gumising nang maaga para makapag-report nang live sa “Unang Hirit”, “I usually wake up at 5:30 a.m. pero paglabas ngayon 3:30 a.m.
“Usually when I wake up, coffee, tubig, tapos diretso na sa exercise,” kuwento pa niya sa mga kasamahan sa programa.
Sa pakikipagchikahan ni Matteo sa members ng media kamakailan, sinabi niyang, “I cannot find the words to describe the feeling. I am very blessed and happy na natuloy. I’m very excited for what has to come.
“You guys welcomed me very nicely. It was very touching. Honestly, I’ve never felt this kind of welcome at work. I am very excited to start my journey with GMA.

“I’m also very excited to uplift the Filipino spirit which is one of GMA’s core values. I think that has been my advocacy since I joined the army five years ago.

Mensahe naman ni GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon sa bagong Kapuso, “We are happy that you are beginning a new chapter of your career with us.
“Your fans and supporters can definitely look forward to more of your projects in GMA, especially with Public Affairs. May the Lord guide your journey as a Kapuso,” sabi pa nito.

Samantala, nabanggit din ni Matteo na talagang hindi niya akalain na magkakaroon siya ng chance na mabigyan ng magagandang opportunities sa GMA 7.
“Not in my wildest dreams to be in the public affairs team because I started my career as an artista. I’m always on the entertainment side.
“When Ma’am Nessa and Atty. Gozon-Valdes approached me and told me that they think they have a spot for me in Public Affairs. I was like, okay, if you guys believe it, let’s go. I’m really excited to see what this journey will become, what kinds of doors will open and the things I’m going to do with Public Affairs,” aniya.
At tungkol naman sa pagsisimula niya sa “Unang Hirit”, “Sobrang excited kasi unang una, morning person ako. Pero medyo kinakabahan dahil ‘yung mga host ng Unang Hirit pinapanood ko lang sa TV and online.
“In a few days, I’ll see them in real life. The team so far has been very welcoming and very nice to me. Hopefully, I can deliver and have a good time. And again, uplift the Filipino spirit – that’s the whole goal of everything,” sabi ni Matteo bago ang first day niya sa show.
“Maraming salamat, mga Kapuso, GMA Network, GMA Public Affairs, and to all the supporters out there. I think this is going to be an exciting journey. I hope you take the journey with me,” dagdag pang mensahe ni Matteo.
