NAGPALIWANAG ang veteran actress na si Jackie Lou Blanco tungkol sa estado ng relasyon nila ngayon ng dati niyang asawang si Ricky Davao.
Kung noon ay palaging “we are a work in progress” ang isinasagot ng aktres kapag natatanong kung kumusta na ang samahan nila ng actor-director, ngayon daw ay iba na.
Sa nakaraang episode ng weekly talk show na “Sarap Di Ba?” ay natanong ng host nitong si Carmina Villarroel kung may pagkakataon bang hindi naging okay sina Jackie Lou at Ricky.

Sagot ng aktres, “I can’t say friends. Civil.” Yes, it was more civil. We just had to. It wasn’t comfortable during those times.
“May occasions na kunyari birthdays will be separate. My kid will have a birthday and they’ll have a day with their dad,” sey pa niya.
Pero nagbago na raw ito ngayon, “That’s why I say it’s much better now because we can do that already. We can travel as a family. I can’t say we’re chummy-chummy but it’s so much better than how it was before.”

Noong nagkatrabaho sila uli ni Ricky last year sa seryeng “I Can See You: AlterNate” na pinagbidahan ni Dingdong Dantes, tuwang-tuwa raw ang kanilang mga anak.
“It’s a very nice feeling na people want to see us together. Siguro it’s God time na rin na nagkatrabaho kami, we realize na kung anuman ’yong di magandang nangyari, puwede mo na ’yon iisang-tabi, diba? So, let’s see.
“Siyempre sabi ko kay Lord, ‘Kung plano mo man ’yon, wag naman ’yung 80
(anyos) na kami, ’yung parang puwede pa sanang…okay pang maglakad. Ha-hahahaha!” sabi ni Jackie Lou.
“I dont know, siguro nilalagay ng Diyos sa puso ko ’yon na…and that’s also one of the reasons why I haven’t been with anyone in a long time. Unang-una, walang want sa puso ko. I guess if it’s part of my prayer how will the Lord grant my prayer if I’m with someone di ba? So, let’s see. Ha-hahaha!”
