Miles Ocampo feeling OK na matapos sumailalim sa surgery: It’s good na-detect agad kasi kung tumagal-tagal pa, baka mas lumala pa’

KUNG hindi agad naagapan at na-detect na may problema siya sa kanyang thyroid glands, baka raw lumala na ang health condition ng aktres at TV host na si Miles Ocampo.
Super busy ang dalaga nitong mga nagdaang buwan dahil sunud-sunod ang ginawa niyang projects kabilang na ang Kapamilya series na “Batang Quiapo” at ang entry nila sa 1st Summer Metro Manila Film Festival na “Here Comes The Groom”.
Bukod dito, ipalalabas na rin sa mga sinehan sa darating na April 26 ang isa pa niyang movie, ang “Papa Mascot”, na pinagbibidahan ng Kapuso drama actor na si Ken Chan.

Sa isang panayam, nagbigay ng update si Miles tungkol sa kanyang kalusugan ilang araw matapos nga siyang ma-diagnose na may papillary thyroid carcinoma.
“After I got the right treatment, I’m feeling okay now. But at the time I was taping for ‘Batang Quiapo’, I was always feeling very tired.
“It’s like someone was strangling me at ang bilis kong hingalin. Tapos, I’m putting on excess weight.

“So I had a blood test and they said it has something to do with my thyroid glands. So nagpa-ultrasound ako, may growth daw, so nagpa-biopsy naman ako. The doctor said na kailangang siyang tanggalin,” kuwento ng girlfriend ni Elijah Canlas.
Dahil sa medical procedure na ginawa sa kanya, kinailangan ni Miles na tumigil muna sa pagtatrabaho, “Siyempre, I should give priority to my health.
“It’s good na-detect nga agad and I had my surgery to remove it. Kasi, kung tumagal-tagal pa raw, it could have gotten worse,” aniya pa.

Tungkol sa ginawang treatment sa kanya, “My body responded well, pero may isa pa raw procedure na dapat gawin sa akin later, and after, I will just take maintenance medicines to make sure my thyroids will be okay.
“Madali naman akong naka-recover. Kasi after that, I attended the press preview of ‘About Us But Not About Us’ sa Gateway with Elijah and later, he attended naman the premiere night of my movie, ‘Here Comes the Groom’, sa SM Megamall. Pareho kasi kaming may entry sa summer filmfest,” pagbabahagi pa niya.
Bukod kay Lord, nagpasalamat din siya sa kanyang pamilya, sa mga doktor, kay Elijah, sa kanyang “Eat Bulaga” family at sa mga fans na patuloy na nagmamahal at sumusuporta sa kanya.
“They all made me feel loved, that I’m not at all alone in my journey. I’m really touched kasi people I don’t even know sent me get well messages on social media, so I also want to send my love to everyone,” sabi pa ni Miles.
Samantala, proud din si Miles na nakasama siya sa pelikulang “Papa Mascot”, “Parang ako ang leading lady ni Ken dito but hindi emphasized and romantic angle kasi mas naka-focus ang movie sa relationship ni Ken with his daughter.
“I’m so happy to be given the chance to work with him na hindi mangyayari before kasi we belong to different networks.
“Ken is so good in his role as the devoted father and I assure you that you will be touched by his dramatic scenes with his daughter, na ginagampanan ni Erin Rose Espiritu. Marami silang paiiyakin dito,” sabi pa ni Miles.
