Miles Ocampo sumailalim sa Thyroidectomy surgery, may paalala: With or without any health conditions, no to body shaming
SUMAILALIM sa isang surgery ang aktres na si Miles Ocampo para sa kanyang problema sa thyroid glands.
Sa kanyang social media pages ay ibinahagi ng aktres ang kanyang naging karanasan habang iniinda ang kanyang sakit.
“I used to be scared of hospitals.. but since late last year I haven’t felt my normal self. Waking up in the middle of the night cause I can’t breathe, I get tired so easily, sooooo frustrated with my weight gain, para akong palaging hapong-hapo and sinasakal,” umpisa ni Miles.
Pagpapatuloy niya, “Then finally I had the courage to have it checked.. for someone who’s afraid of needles I feel like it was an endless blood tests, ultrasound to biopsy, then the decision to remove it ASAP..”
Dito ay napag-alaman ni Miles na mayroon siyang sakit sa kanyang thyroid glands.
“We found out it was Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma. I had to undergo Thyroidectomy surgery to remove my thyroid glands. It all happened in an instant.”
Kaya naman labis ang pasasalamat ni Miles sa lahat ng mga taong tumulong at nagbigay ng suporta sa kanya lalo naxsa mga doktor na sinigurong magiging maayos ang kanyang lagay.
“Just want to express my gratitude to everyone who’s been part of my journey. To my doctors especially Dra.Aileen Salalima, thank you for making me feel safe and for assuring me that i’ll be back to my normal self.
“To my family especially to mama, papa, kuya, chochoy.. for checking on me, thank you making sure I am not alone during those times, Mahal ko po kayo. To Luiz’s mom and dad for being with me during my blood works too and for making me feel loved always, maraming salamat po,” sey ni Miles.
Nagpasalamat rin ang aktres sa kanyang talent management agency at sa noontime show na kinabibilangan, ang “Eat Bulaga”.

Matapos ang ang isang buwan buhat nang magpaopera siya ay ibinabahagi na niya ang kanyang karanasan.
“I’ve been receiving messages from you guys who has the same situation with me that you’re inspired with what I went through, but sharing your experiences too and reading your comments inspired me too,” lahad ni Miles
Dagdag pa niya, “You are not alone. Sending my love to everyone. Love and prioritize yourself.”
Nagpaalala rin si Miles sa madlang dabarkads na palaging piliin na maging mabuti sa bawat taong nakasasalamuha.

Matatandaang kamakailan lang nang ibahagi ni Miles ang kanyang sugat sa leeg na nakuha niya matapos siyang sumailalim sa operasyon.
Aniya, hindi pa tapos ang kanyang operasyon at muli siyang sasalang sa isang surgery upang tuluyang matanggal ang thyroid glands.
