Ashley Ortega hindi basta isinuko ang relasyon sa ex-dyowang mayor: ‘Ipinaglaban ko rin naman siya until the very end’

IPINAGLABAN hanggang dulo ng Kapuso actress na si Ashley Ortega ang relasyon nila ng kanyang ex-boyfriend na si Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala.
Nagbahagi ng ilang detalye ang lead star ng GMA primetime series na “Hearts On Ice” tungkol sa naging love story nila ni Mayor Mark at kung bakit sila naghiwalay.
Naging open si Ashley sa panayam ng “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” last Friday, March 17, tungkol sa kanyang lovelife at isa nga sa mga natalakay ay ang break-up nila ng alkalde ng Lucena.
Tanong ni Boy Abunda kay Ashley, bilang aminado siya bilang isang “competitive actress”, masasabi ba niyang competitive din siya pagdating sa pag-ibig at pakikipagrelasyon?
“I’m very also competitive. Kapag may mahal akong tao talagang ibibigay ko rin naman lahat ng makakaya ko,” tugon ng dalaga.
“Ibibigay mo ang lahat at ipinaglalaban mo ba?” ang hirit pang tanong ni Tito Boy. Na sinagot naman ni Ashley ng “Yes!”

“Hanggang saan mo ipinaglaban, hanggang saan mo ibinigay ang kaya mo? Because it didn’t work,” tanong ni Tito Boy.
“Ipinaglaban ko naman until the very end but of course, we had a mutual agreement and I respected his decision and ayoko rin naman ipilit.
“Ayaw naming ipilit sa isa’t isa if we know that it won’t work. Kasi if we know na it won’t work, bakit pa ipaglalaban?” sey ng Kapuso star.
Dugtong pa niya, “That’s actually one of the lessons I learned. Choosing your own battles wisely because not every battle is worth fighting for also, it’s just a lesson in life.”
“What was not worth fighting for sa relasyon na ‘yun?” ang next question ni Tito Boy.
“Siguro naging busy kami sa work. And isa sa mga naging problem was yung distance. He was in his province, he was the newly elected mayor.
“I was busy with work, kakatapos ko lang ng Widow’s Web noon. And then I started training for Hearts on Ice sa skating. So medyo nawala siguro yung connection and communication,” pahayag ni Ashley.
Patuloy pa ng aktres, “We decided to better ourselves individually, mag-focus na lang muna sa career, and ayoko naman na ipilit pa if alam naman namin na mas lalo lang magiging toxic.”
Paglilinaw pa ni Ashey, “I have nothing against him, I’m not mad at him, or bitter at him. But since nga after the breakup, we never saw each other.
“Siguro now it’s more of I don’t really feel anything towards him because he was not a part of my life anymore and I’m fine with that.
“Ngayon I was able to move forward and I’m at peace. And I think with him also, I think he’s doing good with his career,” pagbabahagi ng dalaga.
