#LumpiaKayoDiyan: Viral recipes with a twist ni ‘Lumpia Queen’
NGAYONG malapit na ulit ang kapaskuhan, kaliwa’t kanan na mga party at handaan ang dadaluhan ng maraming Pilipino.
At siyempre, ang signature dish pagdating diyan ay ang “lumpia” na madalas hanapin ng mga Pinoy!
Ang tanong ko sa inyo mga ka-bandera, naisipan niyo na bang mag-explore at gumawa ng kakaibang recipe ng lumpia?
Nako, hindi na namin kayo pahihirapan pa dahil na-interview ng BANDERA ang one and only na si Abigail Marquez ng Laguna o mas kilala sa TikTok bilang si “Lumpia Queen.”
Sa mga mahilig mag-TikTok diyan, malamang ay kilalang-kilala niyo na siya dahil madalas mag-viral ang iba’t-ibang version ng kanyang lumpia –mula sa mga pwedeng gawing ulam hanggang desserts.
Kwento pa ni Abigail sa BANDERA, nag-umpisa ang kanyang “Lumpia Series” nitong Pebrero lamang matapos pageksperimentuhan ang kanyang leftover desserts.
“I committed to a lumpia series with my Lumpiang S’mores video on February 14. Since then, I have tried doing different lumpia flavors inspired by quirky random ideas of my own or of my viewers,” sey niya.

Dagdag pa niya, “One day, I saw leftover marshmallows on our kitchen counter and randomly thought ‘what would happen if I fried this in a lumpia wrapper? Will it turn out like the choco mallow pie I miss from a famous fast food chain?’ I got my phone and filmed the entire process, not knowing how it would turn out. I kept all the organic reactions in my video and published it, thinking others would also be curious how it would turn out.”

Sinabi rin niya na kahit siya ay hindi makapaniwalang milyon-milyong netizens ang maaaliw sa mga ginagawa niyang version ng lumpia.
Dahil daw diyan ay ito ang nagtulak sa kanya na ipagpatuloy ang paggawa ng nasabing content.
Chika pa niya, “The connection with my viewers, being able to answer silly but curious questions, and occasionally discovering lumpia dishes that actually work are what inspire me to pursue this creative track.”

Sa napakaraming lumpia recipes ni Lumpia Queen, siyempre naitanong ng BANDERA kung ano ang kanyang pinaka paborito sa mga ginawa niya.
Ang sagot naman niya ay ang Tuna Lumpia, Strawberry Cheese Lumpia, at Popcorn Lumpia.
“In terms of taste, my savory favorite would be the tuna lumpia which was reminiscent of a famous tuna pie from a fastfood chain. Not to brag but it made me say wow! Ginising ko pa ang mga kapatid ko from their sleep para matikman nila,” sey niya.

Dagdag pa niya, “My favorite sweet lumpia creation is the strawberry cheese lumpia. It’s a genius combination of creamy salty cheese custard and tangy fresh strawberry jam – it hits all the spots!”

Patuloy pa ni Abigail, “In terms of process, I love the popcorn lumpia. It’s unconventional and to be honest – a little dangerous. I wore a face shield during the frying process. I knew it wasn’t meant to be eaten but I did it out of genuine curiosity about what would happen if you pop corn kernels inside lumpia. The experience was wild and I had a lot of laughs.”
