PINAGBABAWALAN ng Muntinlupa City ang mga benipisyaryo ng cash aid mula sa gobyerno na bumili ng alak, ngayon na lifted na ang liquor ban sa syudad.
Sa inilabas na ordinance na pinirmahan ni Mayor Jaime Fresnedi, isa sa mga probisyon sa pag-lift ng liquor ban ang pagbabawal sa mga government beneficiaries na bumili ng alak.
“Any individual who has received and been receiving financial assistance from the national or local government shall be prohibited from purchasing liquor and other alcoholic beverages for the duration of the GCQ and MGCQ to ensure that the government assistance is not wasted on alcohol.” sabi sa ordinance.
Inaabisuhan din ang mga opisyal ng mga barangay na mag-submit ng report sa mga lalabag, upang hindi na muling mabigyan ng financial assistance.
Ang mga mahuhuling lalabag naman ay madidiskwalipika sa mga susunod na government aid programs.
Kinakailangan din na pumirma ang mga benipisyaryo ng government aid ng isang undertaking na nangangakong hindi iinom ng alak habang nasa general community quarantine o sa modified general community quarantine ang lungsod.
Required din ang mga nagbebenta ng alak na magtalaga ng isang logbook sa mga bibili nito na may buong pangalan, address, contact details, araw at oras ng pagbili ng alak.
