Pepe Herrera nag-ala Matteo at Sarah; Ikinasal na pala sa dyowang visual artist

NAG-ASAWA na pala ang aktor na si Pepe Herrera? Parang kailan lang nu’ng ipinakilala niya ang girlfriend niya sa isang premiere night sa SM Megamall.

Nakita kasi namin ang ipinost niyang watercolor painting ng asawa at sand play sa Facebook nitong Huwebes nang gabi.

May caption itong, “My wife is a visual artist. She is an interior designer and she loves to paint. Last February 14, I came home from work and saw her finishing this painting as a gift for US. Kinilig ako. Nawala pagod ko. I can’t help but stare and formulate my own interpretation –

“I fly curiously like a Darling Starling and she stays grounded graciously like a Queen. Together, we are passing through and will pass through different doors with different results, but One Constant Energy will travel with us all the time – Unconditional Love.

“The sunflower, which may represent our child, will bloom because of that Energy. Actually, everything will bloom because of that Energy.

“Second picture is a product of #SandPlayTherapy sessions that I have experienced. The box in the middle represents my subconscious and what I would like to understand about myself (my tendencies, childish unresolved behavior, etc.).
“Items surrounding the box represent different Personalities. The proud Lion, the erratic Bear, the curious Bird, the slow Elephant, the reflective Owl, the loving Dog, etc.
“I discovered that it is easier to look at your strength and weaknesses without Judgment IF you associate an animal with each one.

“Why am I sharing this very personal process? Because it may help you also. I have been receiving messages from people going through depression and other challenges. This is my response.

“Based on my own experience, Art Therapy saves lives, relationships and improves brain function. Lost for words? Art therapy will help you communicate. Feeling anxious? Art Therapy will lower the activity of an overactive Amygdala (part of our brain that is responsible for the processing of different emotions such as Fear and Anger). Etc.

“Creating Art (or even just appreciating Art) is helping me grow and heal. I will not be surprised if you feel the same way. More importantly, let’s help each other by spreading this Truth. Magandang Gabi.”

Binasa namin ang mga komento at isang kaibigan niyang doktor ang nagtanong ng, “May asawa ka na pala Pepe. May anak ka na din ba?” Na sinagot ng aktor ng, “She is 6 months pregnant Doc!” na ang tinutukoy nga ay ang misis niyang si Sam Mallari.

Producers sa Summer MMFF nagpasalamat kay James Bond

Nabuhayan ng loob ang nakatsikahan naming producer na may entry sa 2020 Metro Manila Summer Film Festival na sisimulan na sa Abril 11-21.
Naurong kasi sa Nobyembre ang pagpapalabas ng pelikulang “James Bond, No Time to Die” ni Daniel Craig dahil sa Coronavirus outbreak.

Dapat sana ay sa huling linggo ng Abril pagkatapos ng MMSFF, na umaasang magkakaroon ng extension ang mga kikitang pelikula, pero dahil siguradong malakas ang “James Bond” ay posibleng makuha nito ang lahat ng sinehan sa buong Metro Manila.

“Oo nga, iyon din ang napag-usapan namin sa meeting ng direktor ko, malaking pelikula ‘yung kasunod tiyak mas bibigyan ng number of cinemas ‘yun, paano naman kami? Good thing naurong,” say ng kausap naming producer.

Samantala, hindi lang ang mga napili sa MMSFF ang nabuhayan ng loob kundi pati ang mga producer na hindi napasama sa magic 8 ng festival dahil nabigyan na rin sila ng playdate simula Abril 22.
