Kakulangan ng kotse dahilan ng konting biyahe at pagtaas ng pamasahe, ayon sa Grab
ISINISI ni Grab Philippines head Brian Cu sa kakulangan ng kotse ang kaliwa’t kanang reklamo ng mga pasahero kaugnay ng konting biyahe at pagtaas ng pamasahe
Sinabi ni Cu na sa kasalukuyan, na 60 porsiyento lamang ang operasyon ng Grab kumpara sa normal na operasyon ng Transport Network Companies (TNCs) na nasa 75 porsiyento.
Idinagdag ni Cu na nangangahulungan ito na 600,000 ang booking sa Grab, samantalang meron lamang 35,000 sasakyan.
“As a result, only 53 percent of passengers are able to get a ride on their first booking attempt, but this goes down to as low as 37 percent on average during peak hours,” sabi ng Grab sa isang pahayag.
Itinanggi rin ng Grab na limitado ang mga sasakyang nasa kalsada dahil sa umano’y pamimili ng mga driver.
“Majority of social media sentiments we monitor regarding the inability to get a ride is due to the perception of choosy drivers, but in reality this is because there are no available cars in the area,” giit ni Cu.
Kasabay nito, nanawagan si Cu sa Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) na payagan ang 6,000 driver ng Uber na wala sa masterlist ng LTFRB.
“We appeal to the LTFRB to allow the displaced 6,000 Uber drivers who are not part of the masterlist to continue driving with their chosen TNC in order to support the demand,” sabi ni Cu.
