Jodi may bagong ‘baby’, naging instant artista sa ‘Lavender Fields’

MAY bagong miyembro na naman ang family ng Kapamilya actress na si Jodi Sta. Maria – yan ay ang super cute na si Zandro o Z.
Yes, nadagdagan na nga ang mga “anak” ng fur parent na si Jodi na kanyang in-introduce sa madlang pipol sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Instagram account.
Kuwento ng aktres, natagpuan daw niya ang naturang tuta habang nasa taping ng bago niyang teleserye sa ABS-CBN na “Lavender Fiel” directed by Manny Palo.

“Yesterday sa taping I noticed a small movement from afar. Hindi ko masyado pinansin kasi nagba-block si Direk Manny ng scene,” kuwento ni Jodi sa caption ng litrato nila ng napulot na puppy.

Patuloy niya, “So when it was time for us to move to position for our car chase scene, lo and behold… may dalawang puppy just a little over a month old on top of a concrete barrier sa tulay.
“They were scared and didn’t know what to do obviously they had been abandoned. Baka mahulog,” chika pa ng aktres.
Sa puntong ito, hindi raw siya nagdalawang-isip na bumaba mula sa sasakyan na ginamit nila sa taping, “Bumaba ako sa picture vehicle at kinuha ang dalawa. Sinakay sa kotse at isinama muna sa car scene. O di ba instant artista sila?
“The chocolate brown colored puppy was adopted by Direk Manny which he named Lav. I got this cutie and named him Zandro — kasi si Kuya Albert Martinez ang kasama ko when I found him.
“After pack-up I headed home with the newest member of our family. You are safe now little Z. Mommy will love and protect you,” paglalahad pa ni Jodi.

Sa huli, nagbigay din siya ng paalala sa mga may alagang hayop, “PS. If you have pets, you can have them spayed or neutered if you don’t want them to bear offsprings.

“May low cost na spaying/neutering naman po or sometimes libre pa. I do hope na maging responsible po tayo sa pag-aalaga ng pets,” sabi pa Jodi.
Matatandaang noong January, 2024, inampon din ni Jodi ang isang ligaw na pusa na pagala-gala sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1. Pinangalanan niya itonng Naia (pronounced as Naya).
Aniya sa kanyang tweet, “Poor kitty now has a new home. Found this kitten at the airport. She kept meowing as if asking for humans to feed and help her.
“It was raining too so she must have been cold. Kawawa coz nababangga siya ng cart ng passengers.
“Napagalitan pa ako ng isang pasahero kasi pinigilan ko yung cart niya kasi nga madadaanan yung kuting. But I super understand naman kasi everyone was rushing to get home from their flights.
“Sabi ko lang ‘Manong pasensya na po may pusa po kasi.’ Then he told me ‘wag niyo kasing iwan kung saan-saan alaga niyo,’ then he stormed off.
“In my head, hindi ko siya alaga, magiging alaga palang. So I got her, took her home and named her Naia, pronounced as Na-ya kasi sa NAIA Terminal 1 ko siya nakuha.”
