1st GF ni Rico Yan na si Patricia Sandejas ikinasal na, inalala ang yumaong aktor

ANG first girlfriend ng namayapang aktor na si Rico Yan named Patricia Sandejas ay ngayon lang ikinasal at ang masuwerteng lalaki ang dating Mayor ng Makati City, si Ginoong Junjun Binay.

Nagulat kami nang dumaan sa Facebook feed namin ang video ni Patricia o Tricia sa Tiktok na nagkukuwento ng nakaraan nila ni Rico noong pareho pa lang silang estudyante sa De La Salle University na parehong Freshman at naging close rin ang kanilang mga pamilya.

At dahil kilala na si Rico sa kanyang showbiz career ay kinailangan nilang maghiwalay dahil sa pressure at problemang personal.

Ayon kay Tricia ay nagkakilala sila ng aktor noong July 1992.

Bungad ni Tricia, “He was the sweetest boyfriend that anyone could have. He would always bring me to my classroom and carry my books. He was never embarrassed to be seen carrying my girly bags.”

“He would bring me home. We wrote long love letters to each other everyday and sometimes he would give me 3 letters that he wrote in 1 day. ‘Honey, I’m in the library. See you later for lunch. Love, panget’”

Gorgeous ang term of endearment ni Corics (tawag kay Rico) kay Tricia at Panget naman ang tawag sa kanya ng first love.

Tuloy ni Tricia, “We chase each other around the house and tickle each other.. there we were in my backyard, chasing each other in the rain”

“He loved to surprise me with little gifts. Once, he wanted me to get something for him from the trunk of his car. When I opened it, I found a cute little stuffed toy with a card”

“On our 2nd anniversary, he gave me a home-made heart-shaped card that read, ‘Dear Tricia, there will come a time when. ‘meaning so much’ just would be enough.. to a girl I really live. I love you, Rico”

Inamin din ni Tricia na nagplano na sila ng kanilang kasal na pati ang unang anak na lalaki ay may pangalan na rin, “We did talk about getting married and our first son was to be named Ricardo Manuel. He had introduced me to his family and he would always bring me to their house.”

“We were only 18 and we had no money, but he told me, ‘Honey, when I’m rich na, I’ll buy you everything you want and we’ll travel around the world. I’ll buy you a BMW.

“He was offered commercial, his schedules is getting hectic. He was finishing his thesis and making a movie at the same time. I tried my best to understand his career, but I couldn’t help the feeling neglected.”

Umaming nagselos na noon si Tricia sa mga babaeng ipina-partner kay Rico na totoo naman at that time ay kaliwa’t kanan pero in-assure siya ng aktor na walang ibang babae kundi siya lang.

“I feel jealous of the pretty girls that he would be with. For his part, Rico assured me that I was the only one in his heart.

“We talked seriously one night and he broke down and told me that he just wanted to give up. He was stressed from school and his taping schedules.”

Patuloy niya, “On our 4th year, we were having frequent serious fight. But Rico’s being the gentleman that he was, would always keep me calm and quiet.

“When he was mad, he would stare out the window and grip the steering wheel. But he would never say and anything hurtful or shout at me. We would keep quiet and he would say, ‘Okay, let’s talk.’

“We both know we had to part ways.. somehow I knew that I had to let him go. He had sacrificed a lot for us, and now it was my turn to give in. It hurt so much because we knew that we still loved each other.”

Pero hindi naman daw totally hindi na nagkita sina Tricia at Rico dahil kapag may mga events ng common friends ay nagkikita.

“Over the years I bump into him at a party, we would always greet each other with a smile. We talked like old friends and playing counter strike until 4 AM. He brought me home and we promised to keep in touch.

“On his birthday. I greeted him via text. That night, I had dinner at Mati in Rockwell. I was surprised to see Rico and his family having dinner. I greeted them and he asked me to join their table. Rico said to me, ‘Guess what? We broke up na,’ I mouthed back, ‘That’s pretty obvious since she’s not here to celebrate with you’.”

Ang tinutukoy ni Rico ay si Claudine Barretto na hiwalay na sila.

Kwento pa ni Tricia, “I didn’t ask for details and he didn’t give any.

“He was going to Dos Palmas for Holy Week. He seemed pretty excited to go to Palawan. When we parted ways that night, I gave him a tight hug and ‘Rics, you take care of yourself ok?’

“He hugged me back and said, ‘You take care too, Trish.’

“I read the news damaging article about Rico’s violence, he said, ‘Masakit, my family is being dragged into the mess. It gives me joy to know that you are one of the people I can run to for refuge. You and my mom are the gems in my life that I gladly treasure. To make you feel better, I’ll buy you a Lechon in Cebu’.”

“I was the last to know about Rico’s death last Good Friday. As soon as I arrived at Sabang at 5pm our driver rushed to us and say, ‘si Rico Yan patay sa Dos Palmas.’

“I couldn’t understand what he was saying, it felt like someone punched me in the stomach…I felt helpless, I wanted to run to where he was and see him.”

Sapantaha namin ay ilang taong itong ipinagluksa ni Tricia dahil sa pagkakaalam namin ay wala siyang naging boyfriend after Rico’s death at halos dekada na ang inabot nang mabalitang lumalabas sila ni dating mayor Junjun noong magkakilala sila sa opening ng restaurant nilang Bistro Mondo sa Makati noon.

At nitong July 10,2024 ay ikinasal na si Tricia kay Ginoong Junjun Binay sa Nuestra Señora de Gracia Parish Church – Guadalupe Viejo, Makati City base sa inilabas na video ng Spotted Trend.
