Barbie, Clara, Keiko, Sofia babandera sa concert ng bandang Munimuni

BIGATIN ang guest performers para sa inaabangang upcoming concert ng indie folk band na Munimuni!
Makakasama kasi nila sa “ALEGORYA: A Munimuni Concert” ang batikang singer na si Barbie Almalbis, pati ang ilang OPM musicians na sina Clara Benin, Keiko Necesario at Sofia Abrogar ng bandang Any Names Okay.
Ang nasabing show ay nakatakdang mangyari sa UP Theater sa Sabado, July 20.
Ang exciting update ay ibinandera mismo ng banda sa kanilang social media platforms.
“For the guest artists, we chose people who the band has been friends with for a long time and are artists that we look up to in the music scene,” saad ng folk band sa isang pahayag.
Chika pa nila, “Some of them already have collaborations with us, and some are collaborating with us for the first time. We are excited to see how they will be able to give a different color to our songs.”

Para sa mga hindi aware, si Barbie ay isa sa mga nag-contribute ng vocals sa recently released album ng Munimuni na may titulong “Alegorya,” lalo na sa kanilang track na “Tupa.”
Habang frequent collaborators at mga kaibigan naman nila ang music artists na sina Clara, Keiko at Sofia.
Ano nga ba ang mga aabangan sa performance ng Munimuni?
“‘ALEGORYA: A Munimuni Concert’ chronicles Munimuni’s current musical journey with bigger production values and more intricate storytelling this time around, and will navigate towards the presentation of their new era,” sey sa isang statement.
Bukod diyan, ito rin daw ang pinakamahabang concert na gagawin ng nasabing banda.
“It will be an almost 3-hour show. New and old songs will be performed in narrative, following themes the band crafted with the intent of creating a journey for concertgoers to experience,” pagbubunyag nila.

Ang Filipino indie outfit ay binubuo nina Adj Jiao (guitar, vocals), John Owen Castro (flute, vocals), Jolo Ferrer (bass), Josh Tumaliuan (drums), at Ben Ayes (guitar).
Ilan lamang sa hit songs nila ang “Bawat Piyesa,” “Sa’yo,” “Simula,” “Marilag,” “Kalachuchi,” “Sa Hindi Pag-alala,” at marami pang iba.
