Sa isang panayam ay natanong si Donny kung sino ang makakasama niya sa mismong Valentine’s Day. Ang tugon ng binata, “‘Yung mga nasa set, magte-taping kami (ng Can’t Buy Me Love). Siyempre kasama na doon lahat ng cast.

Sa tanong kung paano niya ire-rate ang kanyang pagiging romantiko, “I don’t know if I’m romantic. Ang weird naman kung ako magsasabi kung gaano ako ka-romantic.

“Siguro ma-effort ako, effort in the smallest things. I think usually kasi ‘yon ‘yung pinakaimportante, ‘yung mga maliliit na bagay.
“Maybe simple things like writing letters or sending small notes or small things that remind you of that person,” ang sey ni Donny.

Nitong nagdaang February 10, nag-celebrate si Donny ng kanyang 26th birthday at isa sa mga pinasalamatan niya ay ang kanyang mga supporters.
“A lot of times like I’ve had 10 cakes sent to me by my supporters whenever they visit my events and stuff.
“Para sa akin romantic na ‘yon kasi iniisip nila to go out of their way to really greet me and ako I always tell them, ‘Guys, please don’t give me gifts anymore. Kasi makita ko lang kayo, okay na ‘yon.’
“But they really do the effort of writing me notes, giving me like small handmade stuff that remind them of me. So naa-appreciate ko talaga ‘yung mga ganu’n,” lahad pa ng anak nina Maricel Laxa at Anthony Pangilinan.
Samantala, patuloy pa rin ang paghataw ng “Can’t Buy Me Love” sa iba’t ibang playforms ng ABS-CBN kasabay ng mga nakalalokang plot twists at revelations sa kuwento.
