“When pandemic hit in 2020 they stopped payment and checks started to bounce, understandably since businesses were closed, and Jen proceeded to block all communications with us after that.
“After which I communicated with Donnie to discuss matters and after a few months I met with the couple in September, 2020 at their townhouse in Buenavida Homes in Merville Parañaque to discuss how to proceed with the balance of the loan.

“I gave the Geislers a letter demanding payment and the couple made promises of paying but without a definite time. Donnie even handed to me a panerai watch to lessen the loan. However since then very little was paid.
“Despite numerous talks and messages things didnt move anymore and they would not contact us until a time they wouldnt contact us anymore,” aniya pa.
Dito na raw sila kumonsulta sa kanilang abogado, “I asked our lawyer to start with the case and the the law firm messenger found out that they moved out of their house so we decided to file the case last year, 2022. We located them in their new address in southbay village to serve the demand letter. Which was again ignored. So the case of 61 counts BP22 were filed.”
Patuloy pa niyang pagsasalaysay, “The prosecutor started the case but the Geislers ignored all subpoenas of the prosecutor and the judge. They sent a motion to the prosecutor but the case was raffled already.
“The Parañaque judge assigned to the case is Judge Karen Christine Red-lock of Parañaque MTC branch 89 which issued a warrant last May 12 2023. After the Geislers refused to attend the hearing.
“Despite efforts to serve the warrant from that date, it was all unsuccesful because they flew to in the US. Information reached us that the couple flew back to Manila end of May. We coordinated with the police because of some leads that they were back, but was unsuccessful,” pahayag pa ng complainant.
“Losing all hope, we approached and tried PNP-CIDG in Camp Crame (June 27) and immediately, they formed a team to serve the warrant,” sabi pa ni Ramirez na nagresulta nga sa pagkakaaresto sa mag-asawa sa airport.
