“Bumped into a showbiz colleague from before. Small talk. He then casually said ‘tumaba ka ha’ (gained weight), [I] let it pass,” panimula ni Janno.

“I asked, ‘what do [you] do now?’ He said, ‘oh I’m retired already.’,” sagot raw nito kay Janno.

Hindi naman pinalagpas ng aktor ang pagkakataon na ma-“back to you” ang kausap at hiniritan it.

“My reply: ‘oh that’s why… You look old,’ to which he got shocked and upset,” sey ni Janno.

“People should learn.. Until now people use to that comments because they think its okay but actually rude.. Good for you Janno.. Just be you.. You are the best and the greatest.. and you are loved and adored,” saad ng isang netizen.

Hahaha.”

“That ‘tumaba ka’ it has always been a Pinoy malpractice. They’re used to saying that phrase without being sensitive towards the person they are pertaining to because they think it’s normal.. We gotta get rid of that malpractice. So kababayans.. let do how Mr.Janno did it!” dagdag naman ng isa.

“I hate that! I get that all the time and I always ask myself how some people can be so comfortable at being tactless and say such things, but I learned also that through the years and after many “scratching my head” moments at such comments that believe it or not some mean it in a good way. Like, ‘you look happy!’ ‘You look healthy!’ ‘You look successful’ and not so much, ‘oh my god you look like a walking talking condominium!’ Tactless ? Or being too comfortable?? What ever it is it hurts yes?

Sey naman ni Tim Yap, “I guess they also have a picture of you that’s based on your shared past with them… but hey, people evolve…. I have one matron always tell me ‘Oh, you’re not blonde anymore!!!’ But she has Alzheimer’s. So she remembers from from the 2000s. But yes I get that fat comment A LOT. Either a wake up call or people have gotten more and more tactless. Haaaayyyy.”
