Maxene hindi pa rin sumusuko sa ‘love & forever’ dahil kay Francis: ‘I will never give up, I will never lose hope’

EMOSYONAL ang Kapamilya actress na si Maxene Magalona nang balikan ang mga alaala ng kanyang yumaong ama na si Francis Magalona.
Maraming life lessons na natutunan si Maxene mula sa OPM icon at tinaguriang Master Rapper na hanggang ngayon ay isinasabuhay daw niya.
Sa isang YouTube video na may titulong “Maxene Magalona opens up about her love story and journey | #HerFirstLove” nabanggit daw niya ang mga katagang “yes to forever” noong Valentine’s Day ng 2017.

“I thought I was on the right path. I was already in my late 20s. All the girls around me were settling down and everyone else seemed to be getting their lives together.
“Looking back, I was under a lot of pressure and was feeling very overwhelmed. I really thought it was what I wanted,” simulang pagbabahagi ng aktres.
Kasunod nga nito ang pagbabahagi ni Maxene ng isa sa mga hindi niya malilimutang advice na itinuro sa kanya ni Francis noong nabubuhay pa ito.
“You always tell me what I need to hear but in a kind and gentle way. You would laugh and giggle as you wipe the tears off my face and tell me that heartbreak and pain are a natural part of life.
“You even told me that we can never really know a person for who they truly are until we live with them, and I completely agree with you.
“For you, love is about acceptance and non-judgement. You love others the way you want to be loved – by just letting you be who you are authentically and unapologetically,” aniya pa.
Naniniwala rin siya na hanggang ngayon ay ginagabayan pa rin siya ng ama kahit saan pa siya naroroon.
“I know without a doubt that you are always with me. In this journey to forever, you love keeps me going and growing.
“Because you loved me first, I can now share that same authentic love with others wholeheartedly and fearlessly,” aniya pa.
Noong October, 2022 ay inamin ni Maxene na hiwalay na sila ng kanyang asawang si Rob Mananquil pero aniya, hindi pa rin siya nawawalan ng pag-asa pagdating sa pagkakaroon ng “forever.”
“I will never give up. I will never lose hope. I know deep in my heart that I will find my true love one day because you showed me what true love is about,” sabi ng aktres.
Mensahe pa niya kay Francis na namatay noong March, 2009 dahil sa leukemia, “Pop, you are my first love. You showed me a love that was pure, unconditional, and undying. Thank you, pop. I found my first love at home.”
