Shawn Mendes ‘buwaya’ sa bagong live-action movie; Darren Espanto hindi nagpakabog sa OST ng pelikula

HINDI lang pala sa pagkanta magaling ang pop superstar na si Shawn Mendes, dahil mahusay rin pala siya pagdating sa “voice acting.”
Sa bagong proyekto ng singer ay ginampanan niya ang papel bilang isang “buwaya.”
Binigyang-buhay ng kanyang boses ang karakter ni Lyle, isang “singing crocodile” sa live-action movie na “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile.”
Sinabi ng singing sensation na naka-relate siya sa kanyang karakter dahil sa pagmamahal nito sa musika.
Aniya, “He [Lyle] just wants to have a family, a home, and feel connected to people, and love is the reason I sing, too – I sing when I feel comfortable, when I feel accepted.
“I relate to him a lot.”
Nagkwento din si Shawn sa masaya niyang experience habang ginagawa ang pelikula.
Ayon sa kanya, “Hearing your own voice come out of an animated character is such a weird experience.
“It can be a bit of an out-of-body experience to hear your voice coming out of a crocodile.”
Dagdag pa niya,“While I was singing in the studio, the animators were filming my facial expressions, and then animating Lyle to make similar facial expressions that I was making.”
Ang “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile” ay base sa best selling book series ni Bernard Waber na tungkol isang pamilya na lumipat sa isang apartment sa New York, kung saan natuklasan nila ang kumakantang buwaya.
Kasalukuyang mapapanood na ang musical comedy film sa local cinemas.
Samantala, hindi naman nagpakabog ang Asia’s Pop Heartthrob na si Darren Espanto na ginawan ng song cover ang main soundtrack ng musical comedy film.
Kinanta niya ang “Top of the World” na originally ay kinanta rin ni Shawn.
