Nursing graduate mula sa La Union hindi pinagmartsa kahit bayad sa graduation fee

LABIS na nadismaya ang isang nursing graduate na si John Marcelino Rosaldo na nag-aral sa Lorma Colleges La Union nang hindi siya payagang umakyat sa stage sa araw ng kanyang pagtatapos noong Huwebes, June 23.

Agad na nag-viral ang TikTok video na ipinost ng kapatid ni John na si Celene Rosaldo kung saan makikitang ealng diplomang hawak ang kanyang kuya na may text na “di naman masakit”.

Caption niya, “Yung graduate ka pero di ka pinaakyat ng stage para kunin diploma mo kasi di naconfirm payment mo sa grad fee.”

Pero ayon sa kanila ay nakapagbayad naman ang kapatid ng graduation fee.

Sa sumunod naman niyang video ay tuluyan nang naiyak ang kanilang ina sa sinapit ng anak.

“My brother just graduated but my mom cried coz the school did not allow him to get his diploma up the stage,” saad ni Celene.

“He has already paid his grad fee the day before his grad but the school didn’t confirm his payment. That’s the f*cked up part,” dagdag pa niya.

Miscommunication at ang last minute payment ni John ang marahil na dahilan kung bakit hindi nakasampa sa entablado ang binata para tanggapin ang diplomang ilang taon rin niyang pinaghirapan.

Ayon naman sa naging panayam ni Celene sa Manila Bulletin, labis raw na naapektuhan ang kanyang ina sa sinapit ng anak.

“Ang pinakamasakit po dun ay ang itsura ng nanay ko po na kitang-kita niya na yung anak niya na pinull out sa line papuntang stage para i-receive sana ‘yung diploma,” pagkukwento nito.

Hati naman ang naging reaksyon ng madlang pipol sa nangyari sa nursing graduate..

Marami ang nagpaabot ng pakikisimpatya sa binata at sa pamilya nito dahil hindi sapat ang naging rason ng paaralan para tanggalan ng karapatan ang binata na makaakyat sa stage at tanggapin ang kanyang diploma.

May ilan naman na pinaniagan ang eskwelahan at dapat mas maagang binayaran ang graduation fee.

“Bakit hindi naasikaso agad ang graduation fees? Hindi ba ganoon naman talaga, may prosesong tinatapos bago ka maka-graduate at ma-release ng school ang kailangan mo? Paano na ba ngayon?” sey naman ng isang netizen.
