Pagbibigay ng AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines sa Pilipinas, hindi ihihinto – DOH, FDA

Inihayag ng Department of Health (DOH) at Food and Drug Administration (FDA) na hindi ihihinto ang pagbibigay ng Covid-19 vaccines na gawa ng AstraZeneca sa Pilipinas.
Sa kabila ito ng mga napapaulat na ilang bansa sa Europa ang magsusupinde ng Covid-19 vaccination program gamit ang bakuna mula sa AstraZeneca.
Napaulat kasi na may ilang kaso sa Europa na nagkaroon ng blood clot matapos mabigyan nito.
“DOH-FDA find no reason to suspend AZ vaccine in the PH as benefits of vaccination continue to outweigh the risk,” pahayag nito.
Tiniyak sa publiko ng DOH, NTF at FDA na mahigpit nilang tututukan ang vaccine deployment program sa bansa.
