Sen. Koko Pimentel nag-shopping sa S&R matapos magkaroon ng sintomas ng COVID-19

KINUMPIRMA ng S&R membership Shopping na pumunta sa kanilang sangay sa Bonifacio Global City si Sen. Koko Pimentel na nagpositibo sa coronavirus disease 2019.

Sa isang pahayag sa Facebook, tiniyak naman ng S&R na gumawa ito ng mga hakbang upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga kustomer nito.

“Yesterday, March 25, there was a post circulating online about Senator Koko Pimentel seen shopping at S&R Bonifacio Global City. Upon learning this, we immediately reviewed our CCTVs and validated the transaction with our front-end personnel.”

Pumunta umano si Pimentel sa BGC noong Marso 16, at nagbayad sa Counter 13 ala-1:59 ng hapon.

“As a result, S&R employees who were in contact with the senator were already placed in quarantine. S&R BGC also took extra disinfection steps,” saad ng pahayag. “We would like to assure S&R members that we are taking measures to maintain the safety of our members. We disinfect our stores daily and ascertain that out staff are clear prior to work.”

Araw-araw din umanong nililinis ang shopping carts, front-end belts, items shelves at registers.

Nauna ng sinabi ni Pimentel na halos hindi na siya umalis ng bahay mula Marso 11. Marso 14 ng makaramdam siya ng sintomas ng COVID-19. Siya ay nagpa-test noong Marso 20 at lumabas ang resulta nito noong Marso 24 ng gabi.
