‘Beautiful Justice’ ng GMA lumalaban sa ‘Probinsyano’ ni Coco

FOR weeks now ay head-on ang banggaan ng FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano on AB-CBN at Beautiful Justice ng GMA.

The survey figures though prove in favor of the Coco Martin starrer over the “Charles Angels”-like series na kung may commonality man, ‘yun ay ang involvement ng PDEA enmeshed in their respective plots.

Kung ang bentahe ng AP ay bukod-tanging si Cardo Dalisay na isang magiting na pulis, BJ boasts of three beautiful women who can just as display some amount of spunk.

Seryoso nga ang GMA na kahit paano’y makakuha ng lion’s share in the ratings. Truthfully naman siguro, wala sa hinagap ng BJ production na mahigitan ang AP. Ang kahit paano’y “nerbyusin” si Cardo is more than enough.

Ironically, we’re no regular viewer of either series. Pero ang nagbe-benefit from this head-on collision ay ang mga manonood.

Challenge ito pareho sa AP at BJ (starring Yasmien Curdi, Gabbi Garcia and Bea Binene) to do one good episode after another never to disappoint their respective audiences.

Pero yaman din lang na sinasalamin ng dalawang serye ang mga tunay na kaganapan sa ating lipunan most especially their utilizing the country’s drug enforcement agency, would it be too much asking kung sakupin na rin ng magkaibang kuwento ang tungkol sa mga celebrities na umano’y sangkot sa droga?

Certainly not an act of betrayal to their real-life peers, hindi ba’t mas magiging malawak pa ang pagtalakay at pagresolba ng “showbiz ma-lady” na ito?
