Mariel: Humihingi po ako ng tawad sa inyo!
DUMEPENSA si Mariel Rodriguez sa ginawang pamba-bash sa kanya at sa asawang si Robin Padilla dahil sa diumano’y election offense na kanilang nagawa.
Isang malinaw na violation daw ang ginawa nilang mag-asawa matapos silang bumoto kahapon. Kinunan daw kasi ni Binoe ang kanyang “shaded ballot” at ipinost pa sa social media habang nag-selfie naman si Mariel suot ang puting r-shirt na may nakasulat na “DU30”.
Pero ipinagdiinan ni Mariel na wala siyang nilalabag na election rules and regulations. Sa kanyang Instagram account nag-post ng kanyang mensahe ang TV host. “Honestly, I really don’t think that I did anything unlawful. I have reviewed the reminders of the voting rules.
“1. I did not take photos inside the precinct because the COMELEC in charge told me it was not allowed. Photo was taken in my personal car and outside the precinct where volunteers took photos with me as well so I thought I didn’t disobey any rule. “2. No one has seen my ballot. 3. I am aware that you are not allowed to wear a shirt that states the NAME of your candidate or his/her face. DU30 is not his name,” sey ni Mariel.
Ngunit humingi rin siya ng paumanhin sa mga taong na-offend sa ginawa niya, “If I have offended anyone I humbly ask for your forgiveness but it was never my intention to break the rules. Thank you for your understanding.” Wala namang nabanggit si Mariel sa sinasabing violation ng kanyang asawang si Robin.
