XIAN LIM AT KIM CHIU

AFTER refusing to issue a comment regarding Xian Lim’s remark na kamukha niya ang Kim Chiu lookalike na pinaakyat sa stage nu’ng New Year’s countdown sa Banana Nite ay nagsalita na rin si Bea Binene na nadamay sa issue.

Through Twitter ay nagpahayag si Bea ng kanyang saloobin about the controversy.

“I guess its time for me to speak up regarding the issue about Xian Lim and Kim Chiu kalokalike. My name has just been dragged. And I don’t take that personally. I have nothing against the both of them. I even wanna thank Xian for mentioning my name. To the Kalokalike, you are pretty too and I’m happy na kahawig daw kita. Thankyou. 🙂 @XianLim #peace #nosarcasm #nohate,” came Bea’s tweet.

Meanwhile, nagpahayag din ng kanyang saloobin si Frasco Mortiz through Twitter. Si Frasco ang director ng Banana Nite.
“Received some tweets about the issue regarding Xian Lim and Kim’s Kalokalike on Banana Nite’s Chinese New Year coverage,” he tweeted, admitting that, “On our part, it was a gimmick for Xian’s song number, we wanted to surprise him with Kim’s Kalokalike.”

He said that, “Xian’s reaction wasn’t scripted.”

“I’m sure Xian didn’t mean any harm with his remarks and jokes on stage. Nag apologize na rin siya, kaya ok na ang lahat. We apologized to Charmaine after the segment. She told our staff it was ok and understood the fact na hindi lang nasakyan yung gag kaya sana, huwag na palakihin ang issue.”

Frasco, no one is blowing it out of proportion. It just saddens some people na merong isang guy na iniidolo ng marami pero BASTOS naman pala.

At sa sinasabi mong hindi nasakyan ang joke, it appears to us that this Xian Something has no brains para sabihin mong hindi niya nasakyan ang joke.

It was not a case of hindi niya nasakyan ang joke, Frasco. It was a case of a young celebrity who displayed his HAUGHTY side. It was all there was to it and NOTHING ELSE.

We think that you ERRED in the fact that you allowed your guest performer to be put in a situation where he is not aware of what is going on.

The joke, we feel, is on YOU. Sadly, nadamay si Xian dahil sa kagagawan ninyo. If you told him earlier before the show about your gimik, then Xian could have not acted that way.

You have put Xian on the spot and you felt guilty for him getting the flak kaya naman super explain ka ngayon. That said, we feel that in future episodes ay baka madala na ang mga artista na mag-guest sa show ninyo because of your surprise gimiks.
