Vilma Santos, ‘Uninvited’ poster

PINALAGAN ni Ms. Vilma Santos-Recto ang balitang kumalat sa Amerika na pinull-out ang pelikulang “Uninvited” sa gaganaping 2nd Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) sa Los Angeles, California simula sa March 4 to 7.

Bungad ni Ate Vi,  “This is so UNTRUE!!!”

Ang eksaktong bahagi ng post ni Oliver, “The Star for All Seasons -Ms. Vilma Santos-Recto’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) and Manila International Film Fest (MIFF) entry ‘When I Met You In Tokyo’ won the Best Actress Award for both film festivals. Unfortunately, her latest MMFF movie entry ‘UNINVITED’ was recently pulled out from the MIFF list.

“I personally received text messages from U.S. fans of  ‘Ate Vi’ that they are very disappointed to read on MIFF website that the film won’t be showing anymore as they have already bought tickets, including airfare tickets, and accommodation in L.A.. Since January, camps from Santos-Recto already said it is impossible for her to attend MIFF. Not only she already has a commitment in Manila on March 6, but obviously the midterm election campaign is still ongoing.”
