But it is also really exciting for me. Entering showbiz has always been a thought.

“People have always asked me about it, but it was just now I gained more confidence and matured a bit. I just had a boost of confidence,” sey ni Alfy.

“I started trending back in 2020. At the time, I was only 15. Now that I’m 19, I’ve gotten the feel for it more and try to test the waters first and see where it goes,” aniya.

I think I’m trying to get the feel of how it is. Of course, following in his footsteps, he started with commercials while he was still studying. I guess, I’m just trying to test the waters.”

Hindi muna sasabak sa aktingan si Alfy dahil paghahandaan pa raw niya ito nang bonggang-bongga, “Maybe I will do endorsements first since I am still studying, commercials, just test the waters first.”

“I asked him. Nagulat sila na yun ang sagot ni Alfy kasi a few months back, ayaw pa niya. Tinawagan ko na agad si Boss Vic. (Sabi ko) ‘Dad, (tawag niya sa Viva executive) you want Alfy yan to join Viva?

Everybody is rooting for Alfy. Nabuhayan ang Rico-Claudine fans. Parents, even lola niya, lola’s boy siya, nabuhayan loob,” sey pa ng aktres.

Reaksyon naman ni Alfy sa naging pahayag ni Claudine, “I guess at first it feels pressure, but I guess it’s not so pressuring because I know that I’m also kind of doing my own thing.”

Suportado rin siya ng kanyang pamilya sa pagpasok niya sa showbiz, “They have been supportive throughout my entire life on anything that I’ve done, whether it be school, sports, and even this. I think they’ve been really supportive of my decisions and always try to help me.”

I always hear so much about my uncle like, the movies he was in, everything that he did. It is really nice to hear about it. It’s really cool something like that in our family.

“It’s shocking that until now people talk about his late uncle. I didn’t realize until later on how big his impact was. I guess, there’s also a bit of pressure there.

“But I think it’s really like a nice feeling, I guess, that people are still supporting. It’s really heartwarming to see the support still up to this day,” sey pa ni Alfy Yan.
