“Even after 31 years of doing what we do, gigil na gigil pa rin talaga kami tumugtog hanggang ngayon,” ani Chito.
“I know I have a tendency to sometimes complain about work (the long flights, long roadtrips, not having enough sleep, unforgiving gig skeds, being away from my family, etc…).
“Siguro dahil ito kasi yung mga ‘hassle’ na kasama sa trabaho namin bilang banda, and I guess I’m just being honest…nakakapagod din naman kasi talaga minsan, and namimiss ko talaga family ko pag di ko sila kasama,” magandang paliwanang ng OPM icon.

Pero agad naman niyang sinabi na, “But I love my job.
“I love being in a band.
“I still enjoy going on tours and playing gigs.
“I still enjoy hanging out backstage, partying onstage, and getting paid absurd amounts of money for simply having fun with my closest friends,” sabi pa ni Chito.
Dagdag pa niyang sabi, “Honestly, it’s a dream job…it’s MY dream job.
“…and I know that I’m living someone else’s dream as well.
“I’m sure na maraming artists at mga nagbabanda na nagsisimula pa lang, na pinapangarap gawin yung ginagawa namin sa buhay, including the long flights, the roadtrips, month-long tours, being tired from non-stop gigs, and missing your loved-ones whenever you’re away, playing your hearts out in some faraway place.
“It makes me appreciate more kung anong meron kami, at kung nasaan man kami ngayon.
“It makes me realize how blessed we are…at wala akong dahilan (at karapatan) magreklamo.
“After all, we’re just a bunch of highschool kids, playing in band, living our dreams,” ang kabuuang pahayag ni Chito Miranda.
