Hidilyn dasal ang tagumpay ng Pinoy Olympians: Para sa Diyos at bayan!

SUPORTADO nang bonggang-bongga ng Filipino Olympic gold medalist na si Hidilyn Diaz ang mga atletang Pinoy sa nagaganap na 2024 Olympics sa Paris, France.
Hindi nabigyan ng pagkakataon si Hidilyn na lumaban para sa Paris 2024 matapos mabigong makakuha ng pwesto sa naganap na qualifying rounds sa IWF World Cup last April.
Ngunit sa kabila nito, 100 percent pa rin ang ibinibigay na suporta ng Pinay champ sa lahat ng mga kababayan nating nakikipagbakbakan sa iba’t ibang sports competition sa Paris.

Sa kanyang Instagram account, nag-post ang weightlifting champion ng mensahe para sa lahat ng Pinoy athletes, “Sa mga atletang Pilipino, nasa inyo ang aking suporta at panalangin.

“Hangad ko ang inyong tagumpay. Para sa Diyos at bayan! Kita kits!” aniya pa.
Sabi naman ni Hidilyn sa isang post niya noon sa IG sa pagtatapos ng journey niya sa qualifying rounds para sa Paris Olympics 2024, “The result was not according to what I wanted and planned. But Thy will be done.
“It was not my day and #Paris2024 is not for me. Congratulations to all the weightlifters around the world who qualified in #Paris2024, especially the Filipino Athletes, and to the athletes who did their best in the last Olympic Qualifying Competition,” mensahe pa niya.
Sa kabila nito, nangako siya na ipagpapatuloy pa rin niya ang kanyang career at passion sa weightlifting at maging inspirasyon sa mga young athletes.

“It’s the end of my #Paris2024 Olympic journey, I will still lift, continue to lift, and inspire young Filipino Athletes to become Olympic Champions,” sabi pa niya sa kanyang IG post last April.
Hidilyn clinched the first gold medal of the Philippines at the Olympics when she won the 55 kg category for weightlifting at Tokyo 2020 in July.

May 22 athletes na Pinoy ang lumalaban ngayon sa Paris kabilang na ang mga boxer na sina Nesthy Petecio, Eumir Marcial, at Carlo Paalam. Nandiyan din sina Carlos Yulo, John Cabang Tolentino, EJ Obiena at Bianca Pagdanganan.
Naganap ang opening ng sports event sa River Seine last July 26 kung saan rumampa ang mga Filipino Olympians suot ang “Sinag” barong mula kay Francis Libiran.
“Proudly representing the Republic of the Philippines, the ‘SINAG’ barong designed by Francis Libiran shows our brave athletes wearing protective armor shields in vibrant colors of the Philippine Flag, inspired by the tattoo patterns of the majestic Pintados Tribe and the powerful rays of the Sun,” ang post ni Francis sa Instagram.
“Like the Pintados, our Filipino athletes are brave heroes ready for battle, proudly raising our flag on the global arena. Resilient like the sun, Filipinos rise and shine despite life’s challenges,” dagdag pa ng Pinoy designer.
