NAGING emosyonal ang Olympic gold medalist na si Hidilyn Diaz sa kanyang latest achievement.
Natupad na kasi ang matagal niyang inaasam na makapagtapos ng pag-aaral.
Makalipas ang 16 years, naka-graduate na rin siya sa kursong Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Management sa College of Saint Benilde.
“Nakakaiyak din pala. Not an ordinary day. Inabot din ng 16 years, nag-shift ng courses, nag-transfer ng school, nag-LOA dahil ang hirap pagsabayin ang pagwe-weightlifting at pag-aaral,” kwento niya sa isang Instagram post.
Ayon pa sa Tokyo Olympian, hindi niya akalain na kaya niyang tapusin ang kanyang pag-aaral habang patuloy siyang naghahanda para sa nalalapit niyang kompetisyon sa Olympics.

Caption niya, “Dreaming of graduating from college and earning a degree while preparing for the Olympics.”
“Hindi ko akalain na magagawa ko, after sleepless nights and tiring days from training while attending school at De La Salle – College of St. Benilde. Posible pala,” sey pa niya.
Payo pa niya sa mga student-athletes na katulad niya na huwag sumukong abutin ang mga pangarap sa buhay.
“Kung nakaya ko, kaya ng mga student-athletes, at mga bata at sa lahat na gusto makapagtapos,” lahad ni Hidilyn.
Patuloy niya, “Age doesn’t matter, mahirap pero super worth it.”
“I never imagined reaching this point. But here I stand [emojis],” ani pa ng Olympian.

Sa hiwalay na IG post ay lubos naman niyang pinasalamatan ang lahat ng mahal niya sa buhay at mga kaibigan na nagbigay ng suporta sa kanya.
Sambit niya sa post, “With God’s dream as my compass, and the unwavering support of my husband, parents, family, and friends, to everyone who has lent a hand in my journey – batchmates/thesismates, and our instructors/ mentors by my side, thank you for making it possible. This milestone is for all of us.”
