SB19 Stell at Jed Madela

NAPA-WOW din ni SB19 Stell ang world champion na si Jed Madela sa pagbirit nito ng “All By Myself” ni Celine Dion sa concert ni David Foster kamakailan.

Kinunan ng reaksyon si Jed tungkol dito sa naganap na presscon ng kanyang 47th birthday concert titled “Welcome to My World” kahapon, June 24.

“Oh, yeah, he’s amazing! He’s very, very good! Ang galing ng range niya, grabe! Grabe ‘yung range niya, I remember myself 20 years ago. Ha-hahaha!

Baka Bet Mo: Jed Madela naisipang tumigil na sa pagkanta: ‘Hindi na ako masaya how the industry was treating me…ibinigay ko naman lahat’

“Ganu’n din, but you know, I’m just so happy that there are more avenues for artists like Stell. Kasi dati, kapag sinabing balladeer, kailangan Martin Nievera-sounding, Gary V-sounding, ‘di ba?

“And now, we have a lot of, you know, nagiging diverse na ‘yung sound ng balladeer ngayon. So, yeah, I watched his performance sa David Foster concert, ang galing!

“I watched his performance sa, I think he guested in Erik Santos’ concert in the US. Tuluy-tuloy na ‘yan kasi he’s very good. And as long as, you know, you really stick to your core, tuluy-tuloy ‘yan,” ang papuri pa ni Jed kay Stell tungkol sa viral video nito.

Ito kasi, it’s just so funny kasi, you know, we have this tendency of pitting artists against each other.

Baka Bet Mo: Jed Madela magreretiro na nga ba sa pagkanta: Is this a sign?

“You know, kung sinong mas magaling, sinong mas mataas ang boses, sinong mas pogi, sinong mas payat. It all ends up with everybody fighting, ‘di ba?

“So if it’s going to be a collaboration for something beautiful and everybody will enjoy, the fans of Stell, the fans of Jed Madela will enjoy, mas masaya, di ba?

“Kesa, ‘eh, mas magaling si Jed sa part na ‘yon, mas magaling si Stell sa part na ‘to. It’s just going to be the negative effect sa mga fans, mag-aaway-away.

“So ako, as much as possible, I just want everybody to be at peace. Mag-enjoy tayo, lets…you know, kasi at the end of the day, yung bashing, pag-aaway, wala ring kapupuntahan. May masasaktan lang. So collaboration would be a good idea,” magandang paliwanag ng award-winning singer.

Well ako, personally, I want it to be an original song. Somebody has to, you know, write an original song that’s going to be tailor fit for our voices.

“Kasi, oo, mataas boses naming dalawa, but it’s not the same. I mean, iba ‘yung quality ng boses ni Stell, iba rin yung akin. So it has to be tailor-fit for our voices.

“But pag cover, siguro, All By Myself? Ha-hahaha! Nagulat nga ako, binalik nila yung All By Myself ko sa ASAP nu’n, eh. Ni-resurface na naman. Siyempre, may nagdikit na naman, kinumpara, ayan na, nagsimula na naman yung away. C’mon guys!” ang pahayag pa ni Jed.

Samantala, mapapanood na ang  “Welcome to My World” birthday concert ni Jed sa darating na July 5, sa Music Museum.

Sey ni Jed, super hands-on siya sa preparation for the concert, “All the songs were handpicked because the main theme of the concert is to show my world to the audience outside of what they see on TV.
