Heart nilinaw na walang sahod sa Senate Spouses Foundation: ‘From the heart’

‘Yan ang naging pahayag ng fashion icon na si Heart Evangelista kasabay ng kanyang paglilinaw na walang natatanggap na sahod ang pagiging presidente ng Senate Spouses Foundation Inc.
Magugunitang nanumpa bilang bagong pinuno ng nasabing organisasyon si Heart matapos maging Senate president ang kanyang mister na si Sen. Chiz Escudero.
Sa pamamagitan ng Instagram, masayang ibinandera ng aktres ang kanyang pasasalamat at pagtanggap sa naturang posisyon.
“I am so honored to stand before everyone of you today as the new President of the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. As I stand side by side with these men and women—my fellow spouses and officials who were involved in SSFI long before me, I could not help but be grateful for welcoming and supporting me in this challenging journey ahead,” caption niya.

Wika pa ni Heart, “As I have said during our very first meeting, l am ready to honor the challenge of working together to find ways to uplift our people and our communities.”
Kasunod niyan, kinilala ng fashion influencer ang legacies ng mga nauna sa SSFI at ipinangakong itutuloy niya ang kanilang mga nasimulan.
“With your support, fellow spouses, SSFI support staff, the Senate community and of course of Senate President Chiz, I am bravely taking on these duties. It is inspiring to see what we can accomplish and what kind of changes we can all make together,” ani pa niya sa post.

Sa hiwalay na post sa TikTok, nilinaw ni Heart na ang foundation ay itinatag noon pang 1987 sa pangunguna ng mga misis ng mga senador sa pamamagitan ng kanilang “private capacities.”
“It’s a non-stock-non-profit organization. All is done from the heart and for the love of our nation! Indeed it’s an honor to share this with my fellow senate spouses,” saad niya.
