Bagyong Aghon mas lumakas, Signal No. 2 itinaas na sa Luzon –PAGASA

BAHAGYANG lumakas at isa nang Tropical Storm ang bagyong Aghon, ayon sa Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Base sa 11 a.m. weather bulletin ngayong araw, May 26, ang bagyo ay nasa vicinity na ng Sariaya, Quezon.

Ang taglay nitong hangin ay nasa 25 kilometers per hour malapit sa gitna at bugsong aabot sa 125 kilometers per hour.

Kasalukuyan itong kumikilos papuntang hilagang-kanluran sa bilis na 10 kilometers per hour.

Ayon sa weather bureau, si Aghon ay inaasahang magiging isang “typhoon” pagdating ng Martes, May 28.

Baka Bet Mo: PAGASA: Posibleng may 1 o 2 bagyo sa bansa ngayong Mayo

Posible rin daw itong lumabas ng bansa sa darating na Miyerkules, May 29.

As of today, walong landfalls na ang naitala sa iba’t-ibang parte ng bansa, ayon sa report ng PAGASA.

Una itong tumama sa lupa sa Guiuan, Eastern Samar noong Biyernes, May 24.

Kahapon naman, May 25, anim na beses itong nag-landfall, kabilang na riyan ang ilang lugar sa Samar provinces, Masbate at Marinduque.

Kaninang umaga naman, May 26, nag-landfall ito sa Lucena City.

Dahil sa patuloy na paglakas ng bagyo, itinaas na rin ang Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 sa ilang lugar sa Luzon.

Silangang bahagi ng Batangas – City of Tanauan, San Jose, Lipa City, Mataasnakahoy, Balete, Malvar, Santo Tomas, Cuenca, San Pascual, Batangas City, Ibaan, Padre Garcia, Rosario, San Juan, Taysan, Lobo

Samantala, inalis na ang Wind Signals pagdating sa Visayas at Mindanao, pero may nakataas pa rin na Signal No. 1 sa Luzon.
