Sa kanyang Instagram, ipinost ni Richard ang random videos at pictures ng sweet moments at travels nilang mag-asawa kasama ang nag-iisang anak na si Juliana.

Nakagawa rin ang aktor ng pelikulang halos same titile, ang “The Love Affair” noong 2015 kasama ang ex-girlfriend na si Dawn Zulueta at Bea Alonzo mula sa direksyon ni Nuel Naval under Star Cinema.
