Jacob Batalon bibida sa horror film, may pa-shoutout sa mga kababayan

MAY bagong horror movie na pagbibidahan ang Filipino-American actor na si Jacob Batalon.
Pinamagatan itong “Tarot” na ipapalabas na sa mga lokal na sinehan sa darating na May 1.
Mismong si Jacob pa nga ang nagkaroon ng pa-shoutout para sa Pinoy fans upang panoorin ang kanyang pelikula at ‘yan ay ibinandera sa YouTube page ng Columbia Pictures Philippines.
“Mabuhay, Pilipinas! I know you love supernatural horror. Good news—a fun, scary day at the cinema is in the cards for you,” sey niya sa video.

Pag-imbita pa niya, “Bring all your friends and scream together, and don’t miss the terror of the new horror movie, ‘Tarot’ opening in cinemas soon.”
“Arat na!” masayang ani pa ng Hollywood actor.
Ang istorya ng “Tarot” ay tungkol sa isang grupo ng magkakaibigan na nilabag ang sagradong tuntunin sa pagbabasa ng nasabing cards.
“When a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings–never use someone else’s deck–they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death to escape the future foretold in their readings,” saad sa synopsis ng horror film.
Ayon sa director-writer na si Anna Halberg, “There’s something inherently scary about tarot cards and tarot readings.”
“We love astrology and horoscopes because it’s a way to learn about yourself, but it’s also a way to bring clarity and to learn about the future,” dagdag niya.
Sambit pa ng direktor, “Horror is best experienced in a group. There’s something so scary and fun about sitting in a dark theater with a group of strangers and going on this emotional rollercoaster.”
Samantala, si Jacob ay sumikat at nakilala nang husto sa kanyang pagganap bilang Ned Leeds sa Marvel movies na “Spider-Man Homecoming” at “Spider-Man Far From Home.”
Ang kanyang karakter ay bilang bestfriend ng superhero o ang alter-ego na si Peter Parker.
