DepEd ipinatupad ang ‘distance learning’ sa public schools ngayong April 8

PARA ma-enjoy ang long weekend, ipinatupad ang asynchronous classes or distance learning sa lahat ng pampublikong paaralan.
Ayon sa advisory na inilabas ng Department of Education (DepEd), ito ay para makumpleto ng mga estudyante ang kanilang pending assignments, projects at iba pang requirements sa eskwelahan.
“Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their stations,” sey ng DepEd.
Ang mga pribadong eskwelahan naman daw ay may option na sundin ang anunsyo ng ahensya o kaya ay magpatupad ng sariling advisory.
“Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same,” ani ng education department.

Tuloy-tuloy sana ang long weekend dahil noong Sabado at Linggo ay walang pasok ang mga eskwelahan, at holiday naman sa darating na Martes, April 9 at Miyerkules, April 10.
May pasok naman ngayong araw ng Lunes, April 8, dahil hindi ito holiday.
Walang pasok ang April 9 bilang pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Kagitingan o “Day of Valor.”
Ang April 10 naman ay idineklarang regular holiday dahil sa “Eid’l Fitr” o Feast of Ramadhan.
Noong April 4 nang maglabas ng deklarasyon ang Palasyo na pinirmahan ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos.
“Now, therefore, I, Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, 10 April 2024, a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of EidI Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan),” sey ng Chief Executive sa proklamasyon.
Ang petsa ng Eid’l Fitr ay inirekomenda ng National Commission on Muslim Filipinos, ayon sa Malacañang.
