Donny ‘di kuripot na produ; Maricel ibinuking ang anak sa shooting ng ‘GG’

MAS bumilib at mas tumaas pa ang respeto ni Donny Pangilinan sa mga taong nagtatrabaho sa likod ng mga camera.
Bukod sa pagiging lead star sa upcoming film na “Good Game The Movie” or “GG”, isa rin si Donny sa mga producer nito kaya na-appreciate pa niya ngayon ang production staff.
“This is my first film as a producer and just seeing everything behind the scenes, is from a whole different perspective talaga.
“And again, I have so much respect for everyone behind the camera, kasi hindi talaga biro yung pinagdaraanan,” pagbabahagi ni Donny.

Aniya pa, “Doon mo talaga makikita yung puyat, yung never ending calls, never ending problems and solutions,” aniya pa.
Mako-consider ding “family affair” ang “GG” dahil kasama rin ni Donny sa naturang project ang mga magulang niyang sina Maricel Laxa at Anthony Pangilinan. Ang sister naman niyang si Hannah ang creative producer and co-writer ng movie.
“This kind of became a family bonding, sa dami ng ginagawa naming trabaho. But we all see the same vision in all of this,” sey pa ng ka-loveteam ni Belle Mariano.
Samantala, nag-react din si Maricel sa pagiging first-time producer ng kanyang anak, “Maraming requests si Donny, gusto niya lahat ng tao kakain nang pare-parehong pagkain.
“Ke-cast ka, crew ka, kung sino ka pa, lahat tayo pare-pareho. Lahat magpapahinga ng sabay-sabay.
“Tapos lahat tayo may respeto sa isa’t isa. Walang kailangang magsigawan para magawa natin ang mga bagay. Mag-usap tayo nang maayos,” dagdag na chika pa ni Maricel.

“Meron din siyang mga request na kailangan ng additional budget. Tataya naman siya. Kasi sasabihin ng daddy niya, ‘Ah Donny, that’s another extra.’ Sagot niya, ‘I’m in,’” kuwento pa ng premyadong aktres.
Sabi naman ni Donny, “I really made sure that we get the same treatment. You know, we had a psychologist on the board, who would talk to the crew ganu’ng level, everyone can get the same kind of treatment. Eat at the same time.
“This is a way for us to help the industry and set some of the standards that should be placed and it was nice ‘cause you can really see that they are very motivated to work, everyone was on the same page. It was a happy set,” pahayag pa ni Donny.
Showing na ang “Good Game The Movie” sa mga cinemas nationwide simula sa January 24. Ka-join din sa movie sina Baron Geisler, Boots Anson-Rodrigo, Igi Boy Flores, Gold Aceron at marami pang iba.
