KAHIT nganga sa Miss Universe 2023 pageant, nabigyan ang pambato ng Pilipinas na si Michelle Dee na sagutin ang final question na ibinato sa Top 3 finalists ng pageant.
Feeling winner na rin ang Kapuso actress-beauty queen dahil sa todong pagbibigay ng suporta at pagmamahal sa kanya ng sambayanang Filipino sa kabila ng kanyang pagkatalo.
Ang bet ng Nicaragua na si Sheynnis Palacios ang kinoronahang Miss Universe 2023 habang umabot naman si Michelle hanggang sa Top 10 finalists.

Last Saturday, November 18, nakabalik ng Pilipinas si Michelle makalipas ang halos isang buwang pananatili sa Amerika para sa naturang international beauty pageant.
Isa sa unang naging public appearance ni Michelle pagkauwi niya ng bansa ay ang ang guesting niya sa “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.”
Dito, binigyan siya ng chance ni Tito Boy na sagutin ang final question sa Top 3 finalists na sina Miss Thailand Anntonia Porsild, Miss Australia Moraya Wilson, at Miss Nicaragua Sheynnis Palacios.
Tanong ni Boy Abunda, “If you could live one year in another woman’s shoes, who would you choose and why?” Pero bago sumagot, sinabi ni Michelle na wala siyang intensiyong ikumpara ang kanyang sagot sa Top 3 candidates.
“If I could choose in any woman’s shoes, it would be Apo Whang-od. She’s an amazing symbol of cultural preservation. She’s an amazing symbol of ageism.
“She has been defying boundaries, stereotypes. And that is something that I have tried to inspire everybody around me as well, which is to hone your unique story, own your traditions, love where you came from, love who you’re surrounded with.
“And truly, with that unique story, you can make your country proud, you can show the universe what your country has to offer and, in my case, my love for our country can really shake the whole universe as well,” tugon ni Michelle.

Samantala, nag-explain din si Michelle sa kumalat na chika na binastos at tinaboy siya ng may-ari ng Miss Universe Organization na si Anne Jakrajutatip.
Nag-viral kasi sa social media ang isang video kung saan makikitang umalis si Michelle sa stage after ng guesting ng mga kandidata sa Mexican TV show na “Venga La Alegri”.

Dito, may babaeng staff na lumapit kay Anne at binulungan ito hanggang sa nilapitan na ng staff si Michelle at sinamahan palabas ng studio. Kaya naman galit na galit ang mga Pinoy fans.
Sey ni Michelle, totoo naman ang inilabas na statement ng Miss Universe Philippines na masama ang pakiramdam niya that day kaya nagpaalam siya kung pwedeng bumaba sa stage.
“The story release that I wasn’t feeling well that day. I was already sick leaving El Salvador.
“Hindi siya pangbabastos, because the organization already knew that I was kind of feeling ill.
“I just powered through the first segment and then that’s why they notified Miss Anne and Sir Raul and escorted me out. But the segment was already finished,” ani Michelle.
