“Well, I feel so excited. I was shocked in that moment. I can’t believe it, that moment.

“And when I saw all the girls and told me that, ‘Believe it, believe it, you deserve it, you deserve it.’ It was amazing. It was incredible. And then, I just only saw the Mexico, my roomie.

“When I saw her and told me I deserve it, I feel, like, grateful. Grateful is the bad word that I’m describing that moment.

“And then, when I walked into the conference, it was like, ‘Oh, my God, there is a lot of people.’ And that’s here, because now I’m not only Sheynnis and Nicaragua. I’m now Miss Universe 2023. Oh, my God!” ang pahayag ni Sheynnis sa isang interview.

Pagpapatuloy pa niya, “I’m so excited and I’m so happy to start working and to be a legacy, to leave a legacy for all the young girls and the women around the world.

“I really enjoy to do photoshoot, to do interview. I feel great for this opportunity and grateful for the organization, for the judges to see something special in me, and for now to be a Miss Universe,” sabi pa ng dalaga.

Hindi rin daw niya alam na napakaraming nanghula at naniwala na siya ang mananalo this year, “I just only enjoyed the experience to share with others, delegates, share the viewer experience in El Salvador.

“I don’t feel like pressure, like responsibility to be at the top five in the Missology pageants. I just only feel happy for my country because there is a victory for us, for my people and Nicaragua.

“And it’s like the Missology in the top five is only one more. But important is how you feel inside the competition, how you, how with the people inside the competition, how you compare it with the delegates.

“That is a real reason because you feel happy or warrior,” sabi pa niya.

“So it’s amazing for me. It’s amazing and I feel so, so happy and to say thanks God, thanks organizations, thanks to the judges. It’s really unbelievable!” dagdag ni Sheynnis.

Kapansin-pansin na bigla niyang itinuro ang kanyang daliri sa itaas nang ibandera na ng mga host na siya ang nanalong Miss Universe 2023 kaya natanong siya kung gaano ba siya karelihiyoso?

“I am a Christian person, Catholic person, and to me, right, is a way that I feel more comfortable.

“I feel that my energy is to be controlled to God and whatever would happen, God to know why it’s happened and the reason because it’s happening is for to know a new version about me and about that or the delegates and we compete in this edition to Miss Universe.

“So when I say thanks God, it’s because this crown is not mine. It’s for Him. It’s for the other, the other delegates that I share with there and it’s also to my country and my family,” sabi pa ni Miss Nicaragua.
